What do you mean by standing up and fighting Blownupdolly? I'm happy to write letters and emails and stuff like that, but job issues mean I can't travel much, unfortunately.

If I have understood correctly new ECCA after the relaunch is primarily going to deal with the consumer issues. For the political stuff Rolygate (Chris Price) has set up this for the political side of things. We do need a campaign to fight legislation and so far VTTV and SWOF have been the main drivers of this in the UK.

Don't mean literally standing up...geeez if that were the case I am buggered from the start!! But I do have my wheelchair Just meant being actively and reliably involved. This is usually when things go pear shaped. Well, that and the infighting.

All well and good, but not seen this rolygate guy around these parts since I began vaping. Never seen VTTV

I agree when dolly said that the write to your MEP has been done,I am not in disagreement with it,but I could stand at a car meet and ask 30 members what they know about the situation and they will know what they saw on the news last night, that's where we need to be,marching through the streets to our MEP's banners in hand or 10 Downing street, newspapers and tv and radio contacted,so far the one thing I have supported whole heartily is the smoke without fire campaign, write your banners,PLEASE DONT LET MHRA KILL US and whatever else, get in the publics face, get on TV,don't quietly disappear along with what we have now and love.

I understand the implications of yesterday's proposal but can someone explain to me in layman's terms how Germany and the Netherlands got the legislation thrown out their respective countries. Would it not be a simple case of following the same plan of attack to defeat this lunacy.

Exactly my thoughts Alan. It had all been too wimpish so far. Those in charge have little or no idea how precious all this is to us. How could they? Most people don't even know what it is we do!! That needs to change. Too much talk and not enough action.

You should, it's very good and a great place to get all the upto date info on the EU/MHRA shenanigans as they happen. Wed, Thurs and Sunday nights are the best for up to date EU talk and media stuff and I always try to catch them. There's lots of other stuff on other nights from Juice and hardware reviews to tips on mixing and mod making etc. It's a good resource with the team working very hard (and generally fighting technology... bless them )
