Hi everyone,
Just joined today and you've helped me a treat with my questions, wonder if you could help my dad, he won't come on forums you see.
He heard about my positive start with vaping so set to searching himself. A link lead to a phone call and Totally Wicked (I think) have told him that a Tornado Tank is the one for him. So he asked me, how hilarious, I haven't the first clue. I ring him every Tuesday and have tried my best to research the product for him.
I have still no real idea truth be told.
I know he needs to feel confident he will get the throat hit, and vapour, I imagine he won't be someone who makes replacement s himself, so he asked me to research what. TTank involves, in the sense of what you need to replace and how often. My dad is the type of person that see's things in the sense of what will it cost me weekly to run.
I did tell him about the introvision starter kit, even showed him on skype (he's in Bolton, I'm now in Essex). He seemed impressed but I think the man on the phone has convinced him a TTank is the best ever.
So again, any help on replacements for it, how often and cost.
Sorry about the l8ng post.

I dont know much about the tank kit but i do know that Totally Wicked are very over priced and you will be able to get the same kit elsewhere for a lot less.

The TW Tornado Tank kit is a well put together kit, but expensive in comparison to other brandings. Its about as simple as it gets really. The Wifes Uncle used it quite happily and passed it on to me to sell for him. It doesn't compare to what you can get from a variable voltage/wattage device and/or self coiled rebuildable atomisers, but it is aimed at a different market. I have an add for it in the classifieds if you want to see what you get in it. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/23982/wts-ego-tornado-tank-bits

Siffy, The Totally Wicked Tornado is just a rebranded ego kit - & you pay fro the rebranding.

Thank you guys, am speaking to him at 7:30 so will read your replies, and will post any futher questions he may have. I'm getting the vibe it's over priced from what you guys are saying. What about their juice, he was telling my dad it was this that, and the other head and shoulders above the rest, they told him it is unique.

From experience, don't go for the Tornado Tank, not only is it expensive, but they mute the flavour terribly. The atties are not known for their long life and are not cheap. Go for one of the other recommended kits.

From my very limited learning I imagine he would be a 70/30 person, just wondered if anyone knows of a taste like the one he told my dad about, American red I think.

I will Rich, will get him tp pop his lap top on, and talk him through. Rich do you have a link for that video you sent me? I could do with showing him that too.

From my frequent browsing around the various vendors in the UK, nearly all of them cheaper than TW, I have seen American Red many times, although I'm sure a user will post here soon with a specific link. AFAIK there is nothing unique about TW's juice apart from its price. You really shouldn't pay more than £12 for 30ml of juice, and that's easily beaten with a few minutes looking around the juice vendors. It might be an idea to suggest getting a selection of small tester bottles (5ml) to try out as many juices as he wants before settling on something he feels he could vape all day. Don't disregard the sweet and dessert flavours either - many folks (myself included) are now great fans of these flavours, although we started on tobacco-type juices. RY4 is a popular choice, although don't ask me to suggest a vendor - that's a whole new can of worms!! I just hope we have persuaded you (and your Dad!) to consider other cheaper alternatives to the item he has found. Why not suggest he calls Jason at Vape Escape? Andy

Hi Siffy. Don`t let your dad near the tank systems, they are a waste of time, fiddly, mute flavour and expensive for what they are. I would suggest a starter kit from Vapescapes :http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/Basic-Vaping-Kits/Intro-Vision-Kit/Intro-Vision-Kit.html. Also from Vapescape I suggest he buys Grizwalds "Black Cat" juice, which is a very nice tobacco type and a favourite with many members here. See Raw 1211 post for direct link to vapeescape, get `dad` to speak with "Jason", who is a very honest vendor, with great knowledge. Stay Away from Totally Wicked they are overpriced and `profit` orientated. Hope between us `Dad` gets his vaping started. Good Luck. jeffc

I have used vape escape and think they are great, couldn't believe how quickly they are dispatched and arrive! You don't happen to know if vape escape has an actual shop outlet do you? He is the type to talk through his purchase face to face. I think the TW shop appealed to him, purley as he could try before he buys, which I can understand.

Will read it out to him later, when I ring him. Looking forward to giving him the info, he will be made up.
