Morning guys,
Yesterday my 1500 battery stopped firing, I fixed it, it happened again about 8pm, couldn't fix it:(
I had put a new clearomiser on the day before. I filled it carefully, used a needle that my local doctor gave me (went in and asked as when it comes to getting my fix I have no shame) so am suprised at the leakage. Hubby came in about 9:30, showed him and although I'd cleaned and wiped the meet points to within an inch of their lives it was wet again, so does that mean a faulty clearomiser.
Am so gutted on so many levels. Gutted I hadn't been quicker to stock up on spare battery, gutted that I couldn't fix it at second time. Gutted, that with his blessing I went out and got myself a pack of ten menthol.
Fingers crossed the replacement battery turns up today, ordered Thursday from VE. Have ordered the Evod clearomiser, so fingers crossed it is not a leaky one. When I charge my battery I have an ear bud by the charger and wipe over both connection points, I am sure I have maintained basic hygiene on the battery, so am both gutted and suprised.
Keep your fingers crossed for me that the battery turns up today. And you know what, I won't lie to you, I feel gutted and ashamed that I have stinkies to get me there till the battery arrives. They taste shite, they really do, but only a week into vaping am not ready to go nicotine free while waiting. Just fed up all round.

Don't be gutted Siffy because it's a waste of your time, effort and emotions. Look on the experience as a learning curve . . . the importance of spare everything can't be stressed enough, it's a known unknown how our gear will behave and last. Although it's considerably more reliable than in the early ecig days. My own vaping journey stalled for a year, due to at that time very short lasting 901 atomisers. I got back on track and so will you, in a much shorter time than me. As a thought, have you a retailer near you that sells disposables, my local mega Tesco has quite a range now, it may help tide you over should there be any further delay.

Yes, if it doesn't come today I will go get the elites, better than nothing. The good thing is as least I'm not enjoying the stinkies, tastes dirty. Do you think it was me, or do you think I just got a dodgy clearomiser?

Siffy in the name of not giving up here, do you feel juice has gone down into the battery from the leaks? What is happening now with the battery, lights? what happens on charger?
Good thinking perp, just enough till your new battery arrives. Have you ordered some spares as well siffy?

You quite possibly got a dodgy Clearo Siffy . . . these things are produced in their millions, unfortunately there's bound to be the odd duff one. It's harder when you're first starting out as you don't tend to have built up ' reserves ' to fall back on if it happens. Don't be despondent though, we don't allow that on here!

Clearos are very temperamental siffy, my oh complexcarbohydrate was using one fine the other day, all day, went to bed, woke up to find juice everywhere, cleaned it out and now works fine again lol and these are official vision v3's. I must admit i get no leaks at all with my novas and i here the evod does not leak either.

I've found that the words clearomiser and leak go hand in hand... just keep a tissue handy and wipe/dry up any leakage regularly. I'm still using Ego-T batteries that have been leaked on for more than a year now and they are still going strong ! Cheer up...stick with it.. you'll get there

Good thinking perp, just enough till your new battery arrives. Have you ordered some spares as well siffy? Yes, it seems to me the juice has leaked into the battery head. The light comes on, but there's no one in, if you catch my drift. I have the spinner due today, with an evod bcc, pack of 5 spare attys, and ordered 2 blister pack spare batteries yesterday from a link Chrissie gave me.

If the juice has got inside the battery, try and dry it out. Leave it in a jar of rice for a month or, if you have your radiators on, put in on top for a day. My wifed went though a washing machine cycle and still works although it was dead at 1st.
Also, I don't want to point out the obvious but does it need charging or has it been turned off? Try charging it or pressing the power button repeatedly until it flashes.

Sweet so plenty of back ups coming. Ok suggestion then would be to leave the battery upside down on a radiator or in an airing cupboard or better still upside down in a pot of dry rice to draw out and soak up the liquid for a few days and see if that gets it going again.

Part of me is pleased that I'm gutted, for me it's a good sign. Over the last 30 years, the half baked auitting attempts to stop I would make things go wrong, so I could say, see I tried, didn't work, never mind. This time, when I don't want it to go wrong it does..lol Has not put me off, at all, the vape is like having fillet steak and the stinkie is value mince, truly pants!

I tried to recharge it but it doesn't do the flash dance it should do. It really is a case of the lights on, but nobody's in.

Oh yeah, your clearo... its most likely leaking because it's been knocked. Stand it on a flat hard surface and get something hard and push down hard on the top (remove the drip tip 1st though.) That has sorted every single leaker I've had!
I also don't recommend having the ecig upside down because when the rouge liquid heats up, it will rise. Just lay it flat with the button facing upwards, thats how I did it.
