I know that all e-cigarettes are made in China but is it safe to buy them directly from Fasttech? the reason i'm asking is because my daughter & S.I.L are using cigalikes since stopping smoking 11 weeks ago & as money is tight for them i'm thinking of buying them 2 x 900 or 1100 mah battery kits each for them to get a better vaping experience. I'm a proper worrier & as you can imagine i'd hate anything to happen/go wrong with them, would it be safer just to buy the blister packs from Vape Escape.

I've bought plenty of stuff from them, all good. If you don't mind waiting a bit go ahead. Cheers

I've bought lots of gear directly from China in my time vaping Di and have always been happy . . . paying by PayPal there's that as an added protection.
Depends how quickly you require an item although it's worth remembering that in an event of a faulty product it's easier to resolve if purchased in the UK.

thanks for your replies its just me being a worrier thinking with them being cheap that they may explode on them or something stupid, its just that to buy from there i'd get them 2 kits each for not much more than i would pay here in UK for 1 kit.

i've been buying from fasttech since March this year, and i've put in a pile of orders for all sorts of ecig stuff, batteries (Ego Q & K range) evods, MVP, juice etc etc and had no problems at all. All my converts at work have bought their cheap kits and/or blister packs and they're chuffed to bits with them and had no problems, plus they were amazed at the prices there. You can get identical stuff elsewhere but pay twice, three times the price, you only have to look at their price for innokin iclear 16s and iclear 30s compared to our uk prices

Personally, I've got no problem buying batteries (18350, 18650, etc) and mods from them, but I'm sure that recently, there have recently been a couple of folk on here who've had VERY DODGY ego type batteries. I seem to remember that some of them were just dead, and at least one actually started smoking. Can't find the post right now, but on the back of that, I would be wary of ego type batteries from them. The kits my be different though. Hopefully someone can link to the thread I'm thinking of for you.

My first kits came from China, as I hadn't found forums or knew of any UK vendors then & those batts are still going strong. And as Perps said, you have a wait & as the odd person has posted on here, it can be a fanny if anything is wrong.

Although I can understand so many folks buying from Fastech, do remember that most things they sell are copies. Nothing wrong with that most of the time, until you get a dud - will most likely cost you more to send it back to China than what you paid for it. Also got to admit I'm concerned that we could lose some of the excellent UK vendors that work their socks of to provide top whack customer service, if everyone ended up buying from places like fasttech

I know that all e-cigarettes are made in China but is it safe to buy them directly from Fasttech? ... I think the answer is "not necessarily". For instance they sell some battery types that have been heavily (and badly) copied, and some of their clones have been reported as poor quality. But if you buy stuff that has been tested here (or elsewhere) and has a positive report you should be fine. I wouldn't buy anything from them for someone else unless it has been checked out first. If it was for me I might take a punt on it.

Just to update this thread, i took in to consideration all replies & decided in the end to get them 2 blister packs each from Paradise Vape, they have arrived this morning & as my daughter & S.I.L. are joining us tonight for a night on the lash for my birthday celebrations they will have the benefit of a decent vape as i have got them on charge now & filled the clearo's so they will have a good soak before they are used. Thanks for your repies everyone

I went a bit diloyal to VE tonight, made a cock up, sorted it, but will keep sending my orders their way as before. Like you say the customer service from UK vendors is excellent, both VE and Paradise Vape in my personal experience. Don't get me wrong, I can understand why people need to spread their money further nowadays, but I agree with you, UK vendors work hard to give us the best custom. Service and deals that they can.
