Clearomiser Faff !!!

Gettin' to the end of my tether now..... got a 7-pack of rebuildable CE5 or6 or x+3-4 or whatever fasttech called them at the time, but anyhow, rebuildable ones. NO matter what I do I just can't get a good vape off them... had to go through them all, found that the heads aren't particularly interchangeable (only fire on their own post and one other if I'm lucky), burned rubber taste of every one of them on first trying them, have washed out, dry-burned, tried a couple of different heads, even re-coiled one with a vaporbreak pre-wound coil & wick, even that's not much good. Some have got very restricted airflow, making them virtually unuseable and I'm really beginning to lose the plot...I'm really short of time at the mo so can't waste too much time faffing with them..... I JUST WANT A DECENT VAPE

would have considered a fasttech evod purchase, but from other threads it appears that other peeps on here have had similar problems...... HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a vcore 2.0 here matey if you need to borrow it probably find some ce4's here too, Take the hassle out of ordering them and waiting for the postie.

GunJack I have found the Evod's from Fasttech are very good, in fact out of the 3 genuine that I bought from Vaperus one of them has restricted airflow but the ones I have from Fasttech have been great so far. I've also bought 2 Kanger Protanks from Fasttech which are also great.

Even buying rebuildable CE4's from UK vendors have been troublesome for me, with heads from one "CE4" not fitting another "CE4" if bought from a different vendor.

I think I'll be moving those type of clearomisers on soon.

iClear16s beat CE4/5s hands down. They look the same, but are an entirely different and more satisfying beast

I have been using the Bauway CE4 ( not rebuildable ) ordered directly from Bauway. Must have got through at least 40 over the last few months and not had a bad one yet. I use them for 2-3 weeks on average and then throw them away. Only downside is 20 is MOQ but delivered they only work out to about £1.70 ish each. Can't beat them for the price and usually here within a week. Got to worth a try for anyone struggling to find what they like

Those are 1.5 ohm ones. Personally I would get the 2.0ohm ones

..and padio, I've just unwrapped a fresh Bauway CE4 and things are better now, still got some left from the group buy (been keeping them in reserve for times such as these ), but thanks both for the thoughts/offer

are the iclears really that much better than CE4/5/6 ?? Part of my trouble is I don't like being beaten, so now I'm calmer and have a vape going, I'm going to have another crack at the ft CEs...

I get mine from there. Those exact ones and they say 2.0 ohm on them so I always assumed they were what they said they were (if you get my drift).

I've had a pack of them on the go for about 5-6 weeks and they've been fine, recoiled a dozen times each I would think and I've not had any problems with them, in fact they are better than some authentic vision ones I had beforehand.
I use a bit of 2mm silica and four turns of .2mm kanthal to get about 1.8 ohms and they do vape fine for me mate, but I do recoil them every 3-4 days to keep them fresh, If they aren't hitting the spot for you then maybe the dual coil Iclears are the way to go? Take a deep breath mate and stick with it for now
