Hi all,i saw a picture earlier of one of these things on the Provari and it looked quite nice. Can someone please tell me whether it would be the AVS,UFS,AVS3 or ???? Its another language to me but i would like the one that fits and works well on the Provari.Im getting a little sick of Arry tanks now and have reverted back to cartomisers,do these things work the same or better than the Arry?Do they only take atomisers? ???

I found this on UKV from Hifi. I use all of the setups you mention, Yick - the current GGTS/AVS (v2 AVS), the Provari with the AFS3 on it, and also the GGTS with the new AVSv3. The new (available in a few days) AVS3 will only work on the GGTS, while the AFS3 - which is an AVS2 with an add-on collector tank and 901 connector - will work on most big battery mods.
The AVS3 is, currently, 510 only, while the AVS2 is available in both 901 and 510. Current crop of AFSv3 is 510, but 901 connectors will be available quite soon.
Now, the AFS3 on the Pro Vari is a delight, but it's quite a handful at almost 10 inches long in 18650 guise - a good inch and a half longer than the GGTS/AVS3 in 18650 with an AWR IMR battery. To some degree, you have to find the right atty for you for any AVS that's GGTS only (ie the AVS3) until Imeo comes up with the VV module (which is in development), whereas with the Pro Vari, you can tune it any way you like
Clear as mud?

AVS 2 can be used on a provari
AVS3 which is also called a UFS can only be used on a GGTS (There has been reports of someone sucessfully using his UFS on a mega DON as its threads are almost same as GGTS)

I can tell you now Ian . . . you will not have the patience for either a AVS or UFS . . . for pity's sake DO NOT GO THERE, I couldn't stand it, I really couldn't. Woss, the matter with the Arry Tanks for goodness sake, they're lovely and as faff free as a Tank system can possibly be.

Thanks for that Perpy, whats wrong with the UFS and AVS?I thought they were feed systems? Why do you need to be patient?do you have to take loads of grommets apart to fill up?Ive started using cartos again on the Provari and now the throat hit has gone from the clearos :)Im determined to use my stash of Boges but have now started 5 and 6v vaping with them.Hmm,do you think the i-atty will cut it for me then?Im just having one of those weird vaping days today. I love the Arry tank but if you start hitting cartos again its hard to turn back, throat hit doesnt compare.I think its impossible to beat a Boge at 5.5v on the Provari.

Thing is Sham, I know Ian ( scuse me talking as if you're not here Ian ) and I don't believe he'll have the patience to be fine tuning a AVS or UFS. There's nothing wrong with them at all Ian, they're beautiful pieces of vaping equipment, which when you've got them on song, there is nothing to compare . . . however it is an ongoing process.

It's safe to say the learning curve is steep, but once you've got a handle on and AVS, UFS or AFS, then there is very little to beat any of them for comfortable and enjoyable usage.

Even I have managed to work it out now. I wont lie it was so infuriating at first, but now it is so fecking nice I could never be without it.

Great stuff, ive nearly bought a GGTS many times but ive been put off as it doesnt look easy to setup.I got my confidence back up but then noticed a couple of people with the new SS GGTS who bought it, and then sold it as they didnt have a clue how to even add an atty I want a PV not a rubix cube Ive had many mods but the GGTS intrigues me,its a mod that i need to see in the flesh and have a clever person to show me how it works with this UFS thing.I like simple as Perpy has said,if i can easily get frustrated and angry with it then its not for me and i would end up throwing it up the wall

Safe to say that there's only one VTTV presenter that hasn't (yet) got one, so there's a good body of expertise over there!

Why not just fit a tank to the cartos? - best of both worlds for the carto fan (myself included).
