Siffy I have been vaping 9mths now and started mixing my own a couple of months ago. I had been avoiding it as I can be daft as a brush sometimes due to medications making me drowsy, but even I found it so simple I was cross I didn't attempt it before. Using the online calculators mean you don't even have to use any brain cells. Just squirt instructed amounts of each ingredient into a bottle and shake. That's it!! Hope you do give it a go. Aww thank you, I really am as daft as a brush so I do worry, thanks for the encouragement;)

Adam, I will definitely take your tip on not watching too many videos, I know it will set my mind racing and likely put me off.
I normally hate Winter it really does make me sad but I look forward to this one, with my project up my sleve. No doubt I will be firing panic questions;)

To use an anallergy Breadmaking is a few simple ingredients , follow a recipe we can all get a decent result and probably better than manufactured loafs. But taking it that bit further, once you have a recipe then it can be left as is or refined or mixed with other ingredients to make it more complex flavourwise. Bit more/less salt....maybe try changing white sugar for demerara or might be better quality flour, maybe even experiment with water source. Take it back to mixing e liquids and its just a few basic items combined that become really interesting when we start tweaking the flavours (bit more/less concentrate, maybe some sweetener/or less etc etc etc. For me thats the appeal (and i stress im still at the early learning centre on this one) but its as easy(tons of recipes around) or as complexed as you want it to be) If you decide to try it have fun

Can I just gate crash this thread to ask...... Can I make 10/30ml at a time or do I have to make 300ml of one flavour? And how long does a bottle of flavour last? Thinking ahead to making 10-15 flavours....

nottmladLooks like you gatecrashed twice I'm still only mixing 5ml at a time - gradually tweaking them each time to please my palette. I mix 4/5/6 different mixes each time (depends how many empties i have). When I've got one that I think is perfect, then I'll start mixing larger quantities . If you mix 10 or 20 ml and it's dank, that's 10 or 20ml to chuck/rescue. If you mix 3 or 5 ml and it's dank, that's only 3 or 5ml to chuck/rescue.

Thinking ahead to making 10-15 flavours.... You can make as much or as little as you want. 5ml is a good starting amount, not too small as to be overly fiddly, not too big to waste. A bottle of flavour will last as long as it needs to. Some flavours you will need to mix at anything from 15-25%, some as low as 2-5%. It all depends on how strong you want, or like your flavours. There is a beginners guide, but modesty forbids.

siffy, I have just started mixing my own too but I am loving it. I started off with a kit from LTEcigs. I think one of these kits would be good to get started without spending too much at the beginning: Mixing Set 6 With 18mg NicotineMixing Set 7 With 38mg NicotineYou will just need to add some flavouring and more bottles. It's a good idea to start saving your empty juice bottles even if you don't start mixing right away. I have mixed up some lovely juice by just adding one flavour to a nic base so it does not have to be too complicated to make something nice. It is great fun though.

I'll have to ask you for flavour ideas nearer the time.

The dish washer melted my bottles When you start mixing, it can be good to mix all your flavours singly until you get to know them. I then mix and match them half and half in a clearo, til I find a combo that works and then mix it properly. I also try 2 clearo/batteries with different flavours and vape them at once .... really not sure that helps you decide on good combos, but it makes the family arch their eyebrows
