Hi everyone, I am home now so able to post properly again. Well I got my first vaping package delivered just over 3 weeks ago, and was up and running properly a few days later when extra supplies arrived. Since then I think I must have hit every problem there is. Well ok I haven't but it sure feels like it at times. 1. I empied my clearo all over myself. 2. I knocked over a 30ml bottle of liquid whilst I had the top off to get the syringe in, and most of it went down the sink. 3. I bought some pre-filled cartomisers and 2 in each pack of 5 had leaked when they arrived. 4. One of my clearos emptied itself each time I filled it so after 3 attempts I threw the whole thing in the bin. ( I was intending to try to save bits, but was too fed up ) 5. The case I bought got ruined by clearo leaking so many times ( binned ) Through it all I have kept plodding on. It will right itself in the end. It will , it will, it will. I now still have one ciggie per day. I do not know why I don't particulary like them anymore , but I can't quite let go totally yet. I have two new dilemmas. Firstly all the liquid I bought was tobacco flavour, and I was kindly given some other flavours. I liked a couple of the tobacco flavours a lot so I bought more of them and had my sweeter flavours in between. Now I can not stand them, and I am out of the sweet ones I was given. I have tried mixing vg with them but it's still no good. It's the same liquid from the same company, but I just don't like it now at all. I have ordered some new liquids so I just hope I like them, when they arrive that is. Secondly I opened a new clearo, and it doesn't seem right. What do I mean - well I have very little flavour , lots of vapour, but it is more like dry steam does that make sense? The clearo I see fill with all the vapour and it seems really dry and tasteless. I am using the same liquid in another clearo and that is different. Although it was new I washed it out , and made sure everything was tight, but it's still the same. So my first few weeks have been eventful to say the least

it does get easier lol Only the chosen few don't have a few teething troubles and it takes a couple of months to find your feet. My approach to the dodgy clearo would be to bin it, even once you find a type you like you occasionally get a dud one You can buy needle tips for your bottles, so you don't need to take the top off to fill your clearos easily Did a quick search, these ones come with bottles, but there are vendors that do the tops as a stand alone www.vapeescape.co.uk/Mixology/Empty-Bottles/Empty-Needle-Cap-Bottles-10ml--30ml.htmlYour tastes can and do change, so don't worry. At least there are plenty of choices available What type of clearo have you got? Some of them are more prone to problems than others

Hang in there as it's good when things come together. Trial and error can be costly but I learned a lot reading here and the members will help any way they can. good luck.

Hi sammy13Sorry you are running into problems but it does get easier. There are some great videos showing how to deal with clearomisers and cartomisers in this thread: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/19393/riva-1100-step-guide?page=1&scrollTo=361975As dragon said, bottles with needles on them make things much easier too. I have some from Vape Escape and they are great. It is a good idea to buy the small sample bottles when just starting because as your taste buds recover your tastes will probably change. It is also a good idea to put away the ones you do not like at the moment and come back to them in the future. You might find you like them again after they have stood for a while as their flavours can change in time so don't throw them away at this stage. I find that if I vape the same flavour for too long it starts to lose its flavour so I change flavours. When I go back to the first one I can taste it again. Not sure if this is happening in your case but maybe it is something to try. Let us know how you get on.

Hiya Sammy:)
Hope you're feeling a bit better by the time you read this. Am new and had one or two fiascos myself, so I feel for you. Fingers crossed, your luck has turned a corner now and it will go a little more smoothly.
Romelee mentioned getting the Nintendo type carry cases from the pound shop, just thought that might take the stink out of the cost of a new case?
Good luck in sorting out the flavour issue. Have no ideas but would bet money it will work out.
I had a dogdy clearo that leaked into my battery, broke it, ruddy thing! Have switched to evod now, sonfar so good fingers crossed.

I'm using a ce5 clearo rebuildable. The one that leaked I put a new wick in but it still leaked again, so I just dumped the lot. Mine leaked all over my battery as well one of the times, but it seems to be ok - fingers crossed. I started out with just a couple of 10ml bottles of liquid, then another, then thought I'd found the best taste ever and went for the 30ml bottles. Now it tastes rank. The postman had better get here early in the morning I'm running out of mints, those I'm sucking to take the taste away of vaping I will check the pound shop, I carry the one I'm using in a cigar tube, my spares were in the case I could have let it dry but I tried to get rid of the smell, ( sprayed it with deodorant ). Lesson learnt, I put everything back in it and when I went to use the battery I could taste the deodorant. Strange but true.

Not sure if you can get rid of the deodorant now but diluted bicarbonated soda is generally good for getting rid of smells. Maybe you could dilute some bicarb in water and give your case a rub with it. I also like the evods.

Good luck in your case finding quest:) I am going to try and get out over the weekend for one two. I am currently using an old, unused cosmetic purse. Mind you, the way I'm going in my panic of having spare, spares I will need a ruddy suitcase to put it all in..lol You know, mine tastes pants now too. I have got two fruit flavours I could use, but instead am forcing myself to do a few more days on the flavour. You remember in the olden days, where parents would sayvif the caught their kids smoking, thatvthey would make them smoke 10? Well not quite the same, but am in my own wayvtrying that. Everytime I vape and my tastebuds think, shite!, I am then telling myself, see, the cigs dobtaste like that, and hopefully just renforcing my notvgoing to smoke again plan. Let us know when the postie comes, and you can share your pleasure at your new fab taste. I am going to load up a cherry pie taste tomorrow myself, but for today am using my master plan..he he he
