Loving the sound of snap, crackle and pop. I am noticing an even better vape when I hear it.
At first I will admit I was thinking, shine a light, what now!, but it seems the sound indicates I am in for a cracking vape session.
I am right aren't I (pretty pleaee) or is it another battery problem saga?

Siffy when mine popped for the first time it scared me half to death. I came on here asking was it ok, should it be making such noises etc. I was convinced it was about to explode . It doesn't do it anymore, and my new one doesn't either, I kind of miss it in a way.

Our miniature Jack Russell didn't like the sound it made at first jumping up and growling as it crackled away. she's chilled a bit now but gives you the Grrrr look when you take a draw.

Don't mean to be all negative, but that crackly-popping is the juice being explosively boiled.
I find I get a MUCH better vape if I get a good loud HISS. Popping usually occurs for me if I have the voltage set too high or not enough juice is getting to coil and sometimes if the voltage is too low and there's too much juice. Either way, a good, solid hiss is just right for me.

The word explosive is slightly setbmy nerves on edge..brb

When you say exploding, they don't actually explode do they! I think the key is the word explosively rather than exploding. Have you ever dripped water on a hot cooker ring? Seen the water droplets popping and dancing as the steam explosively jumps then around the hob? That's the same effect
