My hand luggage was syphoned off to the left for special attention.... Him-hello sir, is this your bag Me-yes that's mine Him-OK that's fine, can you confirm that you packed this bag yourself sir? Me-yes, yes I did. Him-is there any possibility that anyone may have interfered with your bag since you packed it? Me-er, no, well, no, I doubt it,no Him-could you confirm that sir? That nobody could have interfered with your bag since you packed it Me-yes nobody Him-(refers to the monitor showing the x-ray of my bag) its just these two cylindrical electronic looking devices either side of your camera and lenses sir, would you mind opening the top clasp of your bag please? Me-errr OK (undoes clasp on my rucksack) Him-(dons rubber gloves, inserts hand, plus out No 1) could you explain to me the nature of this device sir? Me-yes, that's a personal vapouriser... Him (meanwhile pulls out No 2) Me-in other words, an e-cigarette on steroids Him-(inspects 510 end and buttons with curiosity) my sir, I've seen lots of electronic smoking devices (really!) before but never one this big Me-(smirks) Him-Yes that's the biggest ive seen yet, have they been available for a long time? Me-err, I'm not sure, about two years? Him-well I've never come across one that big before sir! I'm now going to swab this for security purposes and provided the result is negative your baggage will appear in the right hand conveyor Me-OK, thanks Him-thank you sir. The moral of this story... Pack your Vamo's in your hold luggage... Just Sayin!

When I went to France my MVP was in the hold luggage and I had two Ego 650s with Evods on me that went in the tray. Customs didn't even give them a second glance, I was hoping they would so I could do some education and PR

I went through stansted this year, 1 spinner and 2 ego batteries in my hand luggage, just the batteries, (clearomizers were in the liquids bag) and customs guy pulled my bag over, looked in, rescanned it, they were puzzled looking, i asked them what they were looking for, he said a knife shape item keeps coming up on the screen, it turned out to be my purple spinner, i wondered if the inside of spinner has a flat piece of metal in it ? Anyways, i told him what it was and he was very apologetic and asked if they actually worked.

Strange, Terminal 1 security at Manchester couldn't have been any slacker. I didn't even bother to baggy my ego / ce5 when I was going in the plane even though it contains liquid. My vamo, batteries and masses of eliquid were all in my hold luggage which I have found out since thay I should have packed the batteries in my hand luggage.

Its fast approaching holiday season, will be fun to read of everyone's experiences. I'll be going through Gatwick and Orlando so I'll report back from both sides of the pond.
I'm torn as to what to take tbh.

It may save on holdups if you put your e-cig case, opened in the tray

Not too sure where to pack what at the minute but I'm thinking in the hand luggage with a empty tank and the Ego battery disconnected from the pro tank, all in it's case with 10ml of juice at hand for the other end. Would the plastic juice bottles be OK in the hold? or would they leak/split due to the pressure?
