Ok so I've been vaping for just over 2 years with a break in the middle when I 'duel fuelled'. First time I was off the stinkies for 10 months and this time it's been since Feb 14. In that time I've had egos, twists, tanks, Vamos, Lavatubes, expensive high end mech mods, cheap as chips mech mods, Provaris, rebuildables, all sorts. I don't regret buying any of them. I recently got a MVP and this weekend I have used nothing else and have been more than happy. That, for me, was a kind of wake up call. All I actually NEED is something that vapes well with VV. Everything else has just been a want or the 'in thing' to have. So I have decided to go right back to a basic vaping kit. I'll keep my Provaris, my K100 as a cant go wrong mech mod, my MVP and a couple of Twists or Spinners. Atties will be a load of Evods in various colours, Boge cartos and Boge F16s. That's it. Sorry if this is a mad post I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Kind of a full circle really....

I've had a similar train of thought this weekend.
When I first started vaping I just had an ego battery and a mini nova. But I spent a crap load on buying different juices that I usually ended up hating. Then rebuildable tanks. That I could never get to grips with. Then I discovered mods. Got a terrible case of shinyitus. Wanted all the mods I saw.
Then I got the itaste SVD and its just perfect. Love how it looks. Love the attention to detail. Love the features. It has everything I want/need in a mod and more. I went on a mod search last night and can honestly say nothing caught my eye.
I have 5 mods now. Vamo. Telescopic max. Cv1, SID and the SVD. I don't need any more. I like them all for different reasons and don't see what more another mod could add.
As for tanks. I've honestly not found anything I like as much as the vivi nova so sticking to those.
I have 6-8 juices I like on rotation so no more wasting cash on juice.
I think for the first time since I started vaping I'm happy with the setup I have and am not looking for that next thing.

I keep on digging out ny ego t... it might not be vv but with a 1.8ohm head on and a ce5, it looks good and works just as well. Plus it's small size allows me to not worry about where I can put it in my van.
I still use my vamo but I have never really liked the size or shape of it.
I'm looking forward to testing my new itaste box mod when it arrives as I strongly believe that will be the ideal mod for me.
I've also got a load of evods on there way so hopefully my perfect setup is just around the corner.
As for ejuice... I still haven't found 'the one' although pipe sauce long bottom leaf is one I can vape a full 30ml without changing juices or getting bored of it.

I am only three weeks into vaping and am going to make sure I keep it simple and not look for the next best thing. I haven't the expertise, or money and am of the thinking if it's not broken why I am I chasing the next thing. Did me good to read this, confirms thoughts I had already. I am just good old Evod and Spinner, that'll do for me.

I went from Basic too shiny's then back to basics and back to shiny's...seem to be stuck on shiny's But i am happy now as my hobby is making my own juices, it's just so damm exciting not knowing if it's gonna be horrible...nice...or even OMG that is really nice, i prefer home made mixed juices any day over pre-made juices, much more taste and i can adjust them as i see fit

Not a mad post at all jacquif - I`m all for keeping it as simple as possible.
I don`t mind a fiddle now and again with new things, but not at the expense of having my daily kit causing problems by having nothing that works without a lot of messing about.

I have been using the same Riva 1100 kit for 8 months now with CE4/5's at home and cartos when I'm out. Wouldn't mind an Evod or Nova but have never tried them so don't miss them. Being very skint helps to avoid collecting the shiny things

I buy to try. I do like a nice mech mod and I adore my GGTS. I LOVE!!! the mvp but I will be doing a bit of editing. My dream is a usb rechargeable with big capacity internal battery. The MVP in other words the only thing that lets it down is its lack of VW
Since I have come back I have been good, I used to be awful too especially when I was doing VTTV, and being a student I could not afford it.
Now I have my vamo, mvp and a spinner. The GGTS is never going anywhere as the UFS in my mind is still the best tank system ever made.
