It seems that the manufacturers may make arbitrary changes to their recipes - hence we can't rely on our favourites remaining constant, like my darling Cappuccino that changed without notice scylla

Well the changes certainly make a dog's breakfast of the reviews!! Fox

My bottle of "Defender" arrived this morning and I'm liking it a lot. I'm not certain it conforms precisely to Profbeard's description of the flavour : www.liberty-flights.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=536.0 but I'm finding it very pleasant - a little like roasted nuts; we each perceive flavours differently however. The throat hit is just right for me. The colour is a very pale, clear 'golden' and the smell is certainly tobacco-like. I'm pleased with it. Fox

I'm feeling that VS Imperial (pink) is not worth the blood, sweat & tears that went into opening the bottle I can't describe the flavour because it doesn't really have any, but sometimes impressions change, in which case I'll write about it again. The banana is mild and not unpleasant. scylla

The Defender sounds tempting Foxy but from what both you & Scylla say about the Imperial, I'll be giving that one a miss.

I took a wooden steak hammer to the top of my Defender today - eventually it just seems to open all by itself no matter how hard I struggle with it! As for sticking a coathanger down the dripper - forget it! I fortunately have plenty of TW pipettes so just swap the tops over. Shame I don't like banana, everyone seems to like those flavoured juices. At least I now have a flavour I can taste so I'm getting somewhere at last. Fox

That's very disappointing - I really liked the "gold" Imperial - the pink version doesn't sound too good

I've finally gotten round to trying the VS Imperial, i ordered 2x 10ml to replace a PCC i had on backorder with them (changed my mind on the PCC as i since discovered the SD) Managed to get some 5ml bottles to decant the liquid into, as those VS bottles are impossible to drip from. Have to say its pretty good, not a whole lot of difference from the Marlboro i was using. The colour of mine is a cross between like a gold/rust/red colour, hard to describe but definitely not pink. Not sure if i'd order it again mind, as there's far too many out there that i'd like to try. A steady 7/10 from me.

I like the sound of this... strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49&products_id=222I bought some fluval type stuff, it was white, and tried to cut my own, but tbh it's a right faff on (for me anyway), and it didn't taste too clever either, I'm thinking maybe i bought the wrong material, so it's binned. i like the idea of it being pre-cut to size for convenience. I topped the order up with some E-juice to $10, so it's free shipping.

I've been in touch with Eric at VS and he agrees the manufacturers have been "playing with flavours" - he says he is going to get the original flavours back for the next shipment

Bucko, at that price, I agree it's just not worth faffing with the Fluval. Let us know how long it takes to get to you & how you get on with it Prof, it's good to hear that Eric is going to get the problem with the flavours sorted

I've now got my VS imperial and mine is gold not pink. It's a sort of smokey, woody flavour!! ???

:)Well I don't think the Imperial is too bad, if it is Imperial that is!! I've had the London and thought that was ok as well, so ordered another bottle. Will be interested to see what you think of it.
