O dear, woe is me. I've got that horrid scamming thing on my laptop > - it won't let me access anything to get shot of it, so I'm going to have to get a computery friend round to see if they can mend it for me. On my desktop atm, but it's not so convenient.

I've had a couple of dodgy phone calls Curtis, that I've put the phone down on pretty smartish, before the words ' Good Morning Madam' even finished falling from their lips. Right pain this virus thing is, it just cuts into anything you try to do to be free of it . . . I've looked for instructions on the desk top, but it won't let me do it on the laptop.

Thank you Curtis. I'm a complete idiot when it comes to do anything of a technical nature, I shall just have to sit tight until I can get a friend round to do the deed.

Do you have an anti spyware program ? you can start your pc and keep pressing F8 till some boot options appear, click "safe mode" and you should be able to run you spyware program from there. No safe mode? then ask someone to download the microsoft malicious software removal tool and put it on a memory stick/portable drive and use that. Try these before you start spending money.

All computers no matter what OS need anti virus and anti malware these days, some of the newer nasties are not OS specific so be careful out there merry surfers.
Also a linux or Mac machine can host a virus which does no harm to the linux/Mac machine but it then acts as a carrier and will infect other machines, this happened to my flat mate when a linux user gave him a memory stick to put files on and his lappy got very ill.
Mac users thought they were safe from viruses until they started to appear gradually over the last 12 months - iPhones and iPad were just to nice a target for the virus crowd to pass up on.

Well, I've had a huge thespian moment with all of this malarkey . . . and am no nearer to solving anything, other than discovering I can indeed vape with 2 devices at any one time . . . the world of computery doings remains as much of a mystery to me, as it did 3 hours ago. Have phoned a friend, who will hopefully come round tomorrow tonight to sort this pickle out, big thanks to everyone who has patiently tried to sort a computer idiot out. I'm a lost cause I'm afraid.

Every cloud as they say Roachie, it was easier than I thought, vaping 2 devices at the same time that is.
