Was trying to convince Mr K that the dogs needed a paddling pool he could have been the waiter I do have rose tinted sunglasses Unfortunately, it's been so long since the last summer here that I don't have summer clothes that fit I don't actually have any summer clothes - I'm serious, I am always so cold. I do not own a skirt or vest or shorts nothing. I have a wardrobe of fleeces, hoodies, and jeans. T.shirt and jogging bottoms it has been for me the last two days.

I lived in the canary islands only for a year, but working in 30 odd degrees through August and the calima didn't worry me at all.

I have finally taken my fleece off not been off since last October ( different ones I do wash honestly ), too warm? no way - below 20 and I'm freezing, I even wear fingerless gloves indoors. This is just right for me, it's not hot just nice. Same here Sammy. It's like being virtually nekkid without a fleece! Though I'm still wearing a jacket on the early morning walk as it's a bit chilly still then.

People keep saying about their summer duvet. Mine is 15 tog and is on all year round, plus I just couldn't sleep without my teddy bear brushed cotton pjs, and a hoodie, it will all be on tonight for sure.

I'm with you 100% karma, hate it when its hot. I hate feeling damp and greasy from sweating. Makes me feel dirty. + I only need to see a picture of the sun and I get burnt And there's always far too much of the wrong kind of flesh on display everywhere you go!

I've a 15 tog duvet and a comforter at the foot of the bed to keep my feet warm.

Last two nights it's been unbearablein this room and tonight it hit 30degC. I'm considering opening the loft hatch to allow the hot air out. Never used to be like that - before I created the back room and insulated the ceiling of the front one, it was max 24 in here and all the hot air disappeared up the roof vent (place used to be an industrial building with lots of ventilation).
