As many customers will be aware – Royal Mail, along with several other carriers are restricting the transportation of e-liquid from Monday both throughout the UK and to International Destinations.
We are actively in discussion with both the Royal Mail and alternative carriers and whilst we do not recommend ‘Panic Buying’, we would advise customers to ensure they have enough liquid to get by whilst any changeover is taking place.
We hope to have further positive news very soon and will update when available.

Will there be around this? What other delivery systems could be used? What are the RM doing this?

Yes, there are ways around it, involving using other carriers (who hold a toxic license) or Royal Mail seeing sense. The former will have cost implications (increased shipping), so it would be easier if RM would just use a bit of common sense and stop giving out conflicting information to everyone who asks them. Either way - we will get it sorted and will be shipping as normal.

Just seen this over at POTV: Thank you for contacting Royal Mail. I understand from your email you would like to clarify if you are eligible to send e-liquid within the UK. I’m sorry to learn you are experiencing problems finding the information you require on our website. Please accept my apology for inconvenience caused. I have checked our restricted and prohibited goods and this item does not fit into any category therefore you are able to send e liquid within the UK, under the conditions that the liquid is securely package correct to prevent any spillage. I have supplied the link below for our packaging guidelines to help you further; www.royalmail.com/business/he...nswer=19354705 I hope the information I have provided resolves and concludes this matter for you. However if you require any further assistance please don’t hesitate to contact us back. But that was before they qualified it with a follow up email confirming that they are only referring to e-liquid that does NOT contain nicotine. After which it becomes a 'Toxic' and is not allowed. That's part of the problem - a total lack of understanding or co-ordination from RM What am I saying - no change there then

Just an update.
Royal Mail alternatives have been put in place and will take over soon.
Postage prices will increase in a few days, not sure by how much until final costing's are in, but they will increase.
So please bear that in mind if you aren't ordering while later next week.

Good to hear there will be alternatives Jason, even if it means a price increase . . . it's just something we'll all have to accept as we can't expect Vendors to keep absorbing these costs.

Hi Jason. Will the increased postage costs just be for eliquid, nic base etc or will it be across the board and cover things like clearos, batteries, cases and suchlike?

Thanks for keeping us informed Jason.
Is hard for the lay person to get a grasp on this situation and we aren't as well informed as vendors.
Good old GPO, once a government puppet always a government puppet.
A shabby turn of events.
It's a good job the breast feeding movement didn't have as much clout as the tobacco companies or we would have seen baby formula deliveries banned too!

It just occurred to me that pre-filled cartos and disposable e-cigs also contain e liquid.
Are they banned too?
As the ban applies equally to 'liquids, solids or gasses including substances that are liable to cause death or injury if swallowed or inhaled or by skin contact, such as arsenic, beryllium, cyanide, fluorine, rat poison' does that mean no more nicotine patches or gum in the mail?

May also be an argument that ALL products containing sugar, peanuts, etc should join the list as these can be fatal to diabetics, etc?
I won't go on, am just bloody annoyed!

I bet royal mail don't treat it any differently when they put the price up.
