My mate is in America was going to ask him to get us some nicotine back and was wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit of the 72mg nicotine you can bring back into the uk, as I think its a bit cheaper over there, thanks

Yep, limit in Uk is 75mg. Nicvape.com posts a litre of 75mg to the UK for about £100. Not sure what'll happen with the new royal mail rules tho.

I'm unaware that there's a volume limit, only a strength . . . but I'd think there's only so much your friend could transport and not attract attention myself.

1 Litre is as much as I'd feel comfortable asking someone else to bring into the country for me.

I would imagine that any quantity over about 100-125ml of 75mg should technically be declared. Then, I'm not sure there would be a limit, as long as you're prepared to pay import duty & VAT.
Risking the green channel with any more than that could end up quite costly if it were confiscated & you're mate could end up in trouble.

I doubt if customs will bother, but even 1ltr of 72mg will make enough juice to last 2 or 3 years, and it does go off, although pretty slowly if you keep it in the freezer.

All below is my opinion and not necessarily yours

Most of the imports of nicotine that comes from China is normally low level 36mg/ml strength and marked as gift and normally gets through ok and its still risky especially now.

I have had 100mg/ml shipped from USA which is not allowed here as It is classed as a poison and you must have a licence to handle or import.I do believe that 75mg/ml is the legal limit.It must also be shipped in a tamper proof container preferably dark glass and protected with packaging.

If you where to try and secret an amount of 72mg/ml in anything but a suitable container and labelled poison the person found would having not declared it on their customs declaration card be in a lot of trouble and would probably be fined and returned to their country of origin.or worse loose their vaping gear and sent to the tower

Is it worth it? for a few quid saved!

You can get 500ml 75mg delivered for under £60 from Nicvape. Personally I wouldn't put your mate at risk for the sake of a few quid
