Vaping has not been proven to be 100% safe, perhaps it will be in the future, who knows? Smoking has been proven to be totally unsafe with 50% of smokers dying prematurely with a smoking related illness! I liked smoking, tried all other methods to stop, but failed! I'll happily take my chances with vaping. At the end of the day, life isn't safe, none of us get out alive  |

@alopezg1 I was at the beach a few weeks back, on quite a windy day. I would imagine I inhaled a lot more silica in an hour, than I ever will through vaping. Will I stop going to the beach? NO! You seem to have gleaned you information from other forums, which seem to be a lot more knowledgeable on the subject - you may get the response you are looking for from them?  |

@alopezg1 just to try & put your mind at rest a tad. I've been vaping for 5 years & apart from saving a small fortune (I used to smoke on average 50 cigs a day), my breathing improved dramatically within the first few weeks. There have been so many reports from members that have had very poor Lung function tests as smokers, but again, after only a few weeks vaping, follow up tests have shown dramatic improvements |

It's an amazing achievement though to have stopped something
You've done 50 times a day for 40 years. Well done !
My dad has been smoking about that long ; I really want him to switch
Over to vaping. He's a stubborn old fart though
