Has anyone else had any overheating issues with the new iTaste vv's?
Had mine in my pocket at work today and started to get a really hot feeling on my leg, when I took the iTaste vv out the battery was quite hot and the SS Evod on top was very hot.
Only thing I can think of was the way I was standing it had been constantly pressing the fire button.
I thought if the fire button was pressed for more than 10 -15 seconds it would automatically switch off like other mods but it does not seem to be the case with these.
Have noticed it to be quite warm before when it has been in my pocket but this time it was really HOT !!!!!
Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar issues with this ?

Did you have it switched on or off in your pocket stewartyIf switched on, I suppose it would cut off, but then fire again when pressed

No problems with mine Stewarty, though I have had similar with other devices that have accidentally been activated in a pocket. My own fault for not switching them off of course.

Moved to my shirt pocket and now all ok but was a bit concerned about how hot it actually got ???

I suppose stewarty if it was constantly firing up, even if it was cutting out every 10 seconds, it would get very hot Pleased to hear it's happier in your shirt pocket

It's not the iTaste that's overheating, it's constantly firing in your pocket and it's heating up the coil in the evod and the residual heat is remaining in the stainless steel, and the 10 second cut out won't really help you as it'll fire, the moment your body shifts a bit you may end up depressing the button and pressing it again as it's moving around in your pocket as your walking/moving.
I can heat my AGA-T up to painful temps using my VAMO if i rapidly fire it for any length of time.

Switched it off when it happened at first and put it back in my pocket .... switched itself back on and overheated again so as you say the way it was sitting must have been constantly pressing the button Never used to happen with other mods in same pocket so I assume the button on this must be a lot more touch sensitive
