Poundland Cig-a-likes?

Just had a call from a friend that Poundland in Camberwell are selling cig-a-likes that are supposed to be the equivalent to 10 cigarettes.

He said they were behind the counter.

I have asked him to get one for me (for research purposes), but I'm going to go and check my local Poundland and see if they are selling them too.

I doubt they will be any good and I'll update this post when I have one in hand.

Raises the question for me though. Is it a good or bad thing that the likes of Poundland are starting to sell ecigs?

My local B+M are selling Gammuci cig-a-likes and I saw some in the Factory Shop the other day.

Are the ones in Poundland £1 ?

Think I might have to nip into Poundland tomorrow to buy one then Mark, if my local stocks them.

Depends how good or bad they are I guess as to whether it will create enough interest for someone to go on and invest in better equipment.

I've just come back from Poundland now with 3 menthol ones all £1 each.

They had sold out of the tobacco ones


Will be pulling them apart and will update soon with pics and stuff.

Wonder if the menthol tastes like parsnip too?

I always check the smokeables section too if anything comes in that might look mod-able.

most likely different to the one I tried ... I took that apart as well after it gave out. Lasted me about an hour of total usage I seem to recall

When I smoked the stinkies, I always used Bull Brand papers, roller and filter tips. They were pretty good too. But I'd rather be vaping

77 puffs and it's dead!

In fairness it delivered as good as any other cig-a-like I've tried, which isn't very good really.

It might be enough for someone to think they could work though and get them seeking out better equipment like Perpetua said.

For £1 you can't really grumble.

yeah ... for a quid if it stops you from buying fags ... can't complain too much ... at least it goes to show how over priced some of them are

77 puffs probably isn't far off 10 fags to be honest - but then I used to smoke pretty quickly lol

Dismantled it and although battery is dead there is still 3 thirds of the juice left.
