Tease-smiley There will be a lot of swearing then I will pm you to make me some wicks lol Hehe, you'll be fine! Besides, labour charges ain't cheap! Just make sure you get a clean cut with the rope and that it isn't too tall.. cut mesh to suit and just concentrate on the coil end when twisting it to fit the rope.. bottom will just follow.. wicking will suffer if the bottom of the mesh is too tightly wrapped so bare that in mind.. shaping the wick so it fits in the wick hole nicely is the hardest bit.. remember to fit the wick into the top deck from underneath so it keeps the shape of a cone. Pull it through far enough to blowtorch the area where the coil will sit and then put it all together. Which mod is the second one going on? Does it have an adjustable centre pin? With the drawtube I used to screw the rsst down without the centre post in until it sits flush. Also makes it easier to coil as it gets in the way if its fitted.. coil it, and then insert the centre post and attach the wire to it.. I'd then adjust the drawtubes centre pin to make contact..

I was just going to wrap the top of the rope in mesh just for coiling. I have some good cutters for the rope (34mm long) and see how that goes. Second one is just so I can use it while the other gets cleaned out but I can't see this one needing a clean for a long while it just keeps going and taste never drops

I personally found that it couldn't keep up but that may just have been me..

Thanks for the reply. I'll go for Kanthal A1 wire and see what happens! Let us know how you get on Just tried wicking my RSST for the first time. I didn't use your method this time, dc84 - I thought I'd keep it simple and just use mesh without rope. May as well learn to walk before attempting a run. I copied P Busardo's vid where he makes a little cut up into the mesh at the bottom end. My coil snapped on my first attempt to pulse. I recoiled with more wire, and it took me a good few minutes to get the coils glowing evenly, but with a bit of gentle random nudging it got there eventually. Liquid on. No glowing. Fill her up and away we go. Boom! Lovely vape! My genesis cherry has officially been popped! And it was much less tricky than I feared it would be. Just one other question I'm now wondering about: I have 3 devices, and they're all vv box mods. So not ideal for pulsing, is that right? Would I be better off getting a mech for this purpose, or does it not really matter all that much? (I'm assuming that since I was successful so quickly, it can't make that much difference.)
