just popping in to say hello, this is my second attempt at gaping, having originally by rise a couple of years back with a VIP cigalike.. then stopping smoking with champix, that didn't last and I've been back on cigs for about 4 months, hating it so thought I'd give vaping a try again, been lurking around here for a couple of months, bought myself a riva kit last month, and just got a vision spinner in the mail this morning, using i16 clearos.

juice wise, I'm really struggling to find that one I can use all day long and stay away from fags, still smoking 0.5-1 pad, so not really reduced much at all! :-(

got key lime today from paradise vape, early impressions, not a fan, tastes a bit chemically, in fact almost soapy! I also have black honey tobacco to try and a sample of superkings which I was sent free with my order.. fingers crossed for those...!

Keep trying, I am sure you will find a juice to suit you. Maybe more than one - some of us like to switch between juices.

Hello & welcome to the forum, dabailli. Here's hoping it's third time lucky & with the kit you've got this time, it should be. The perfect juice takes a bit of finding, but the hunt can be quite enjoyable. Don't be surprised if the juices you end up with as a daily vape, aren't fruit or dessert though. I think it's almost a mistake to try and find just one ' all day ' flavour, normally I've a minimum of 6 on the go to keep my interest and save my taste buds from getting too tuned in.

But then I hated the taste of tobacco, so I've loved trying all the different flavours there are around.

It's worth setting aside those you aren't currently enjoying and revisiting them in a few weeks when your taste buds may have settled down a little more.

Puffing away on black honey tobacco as I type this, very pleasant, 36mg nic content as well so its keeping the smoking urges at bay! :-)

Good choice of kit, and the iclear 16s are just the dogs doodahs, i love 'em

Sometimes it takes ages to find an all day vape, took approx 2 months for me, tried all sorts, but bought RY4 and was hooked.

Nowadays i've got 5 or 6 clearos on the go with different tobacco and fruit flavours, just got a bottle of Hangsen Deluxe Tobacco from Vaporbreak and it's really nice, deffo another all day vape to my stash

what nic strength are you using?

I struggled at first with 16/18mg and didn't manage to ditch the fags until I started using 24mg in the morning and 18 for all day(was able to drop the 24mg after a week).

It also helped that I learned to let go of the hunt for a fag like experience and flavour.

Keep up the good work, vaping is it's own reward.

I've been vaping for 6 weeks now - previously a very heavy smoker, but I've not touched a fag since my stuff arrived and I've not even thought about them.

I bought about 15 flavours to try and find something I like. I didn't like any of the tobacco flavours and some of the fruit flavours were too sickly/chemically for me. The two flavours I've settled on are Sweet Sampilla (tastes a little bit like Tunes cough sweets) and BLM (Blackcurrant/Liquorice/Menthol), both from LTCigs. I can happily smoke either flavour all day long, but BLM is probably my favourite, which is surprising as I always hated menthol fags and I'm not really a fan of Liquorice either.

I'm quite happy to just stick to these two flavours now, so i guess my next step is to experiment with making them myself to keep my costs down.
