Tried my first cartomiser today - very fiddly and unclear instructions - said remove rubber bung and find fill holes ,on removing bung i could not find holes so assumed it must be a new design so injected liquid down centre an d it worked ok ,i noticed another white rubber ring so decided to investigat and remove it .On doing this the filler holes came to light so injected with difficulty approx 1ml into 1 hole .The syringe seems reluctant to suck up fluid or inject it again .I also read that these cartomisers are only good for 4 uses am i understanding correctly.

If there the ones I sent you they're good for more than 4...
@collie - they're (unless I'm very much mistaken) - royal smokers from C9....
Not the best

Mine are refilled once a day, just checked I have boge ones and standard ones from Jason at Vape escape. None of them are dropping off yet so they definitely last more than 4 fills.

As Jo said Birdy, if they are the Royalsmokers ones they can be a bit fiddly.
Normal cartomisers are a lot easier, just flip the soft cap off, drip e-liquid onto the foam filling and then stick a drip tip on - no syringe required.

Have a look at this It's not a brilliant vid, there are far beter out there but it should make life a bit easier. Then click on the vape escape in jasons post above and have a look at the dual coil cartomisers, they're very good and you'll get a top notch service from him.

Jo has just kindly sent me 2 DC cartos.
Now I've filled them using the "condom method" & I'm just wondering whether once the juice dries up, do you just keep using the same method to re-fill & can they be boiled if needs be?
So far so good with the one I'm using at the moment. I'm using it with my GGTB & if they prove to be good, I'll probably buy some more.
I gather Jason is the DC cartos main man?

If they are DC's Hissie, just top them up every now and again from the top, just like you would an ordinary cartomiser.
I do believe they can be boiled, but going off the reports, the lifespan is pretty good anyway.

Griz kindly sent me a transparent DC to try Hissie . . . and I loved it, so much so I've bought a few more from Jason.
I've just topped mine up via the drip tip.

I'm using Single coils right now (only have 3 :eek:)...and finding after a few days the plastic casing gets loose and they get wobbly at the connection...
Anyone else had the same prob cos if they do I'll have to take my 808's cartos off the sale things?

Griz, is Grizwald Hissie . . . a more charming and generous gentleman you couldn't wish to meet on a forum. Griz is also a 'Master Mixer' so posts quite a fair bit on the Mixology board with advice & yummy recipes.

Just gone back to 808's after the plastic on my single coils died after a week Can't afford any more sc's right now...have 50 808's... Easy enough though to top up with drip tip (whatever did I do before my drip tip?) And like just put some coffee 36mg (a few drops) in it from heaven-gifts and it tastes AMAZING... So will be investing JO
