Customs will still charge their bit - only Lisa will be the one paying it directly- but the charge will have to be passed on, obviously. And the VAT... There'll be very little difference in that arena, I'd have thought. However, delivery times will be much lower, and probably delivery costs.

Don't feel bad Tim, as Hifi says, there'll be very little in it cost wise when it all boils down I'd imagine.

I'm very pleased for Lisa, I feel she now does have a high-end model with a bit of cachet to fill the gap left by the GG range (not that they are comparable, horses for courses), I didn't think that Puresmoker did it. It will be interesting to see how things go, reliability wise, how the model's reputation will develop. Looking forward to seeing the price, but only as an observer scylla

I think it's fantastic that Lisa is getting these in... I know I've just sold both my Ultra and my Ultramax, but I have to admit that a big part of that was that to get any more bits I knew I was just going to have to fork out more customs duty, and that, frankly simply put me off....
Lisa has posted on UKV her projected (but not necessarily final) prices at:-
UltraLite with RES £112.95 Ultra with RES £129.95 UltraMax with RES £141.95
So looks comparable with the US Price, but minus the duty and cheaper delivery, definitely a more attractive prospect... the cases too makes it all the more a winner.
