Exactly the same as you I simply have dropped the heat a bit, ie a madras instead of a vindaloo, a little less chilli in a con carne etc, works for me. still eating the spicy food but just not quite as hot as before.

I have never liked spicey food, so can't empathise, sympathise or whatever... just go for fish & chips and you'll be fine!

As a family we love spicy food, and I have also noticed an increase in my sensitivity to hot and spicy chillis, curries, and Paprika Chicken (with cayenne, chilli paprika and Bird's Foot chilli powder!!). We always say that the food is spicy enough if we have to reach for the kitchen towel (as a vaper, that's sacrilege!) to blow noses halfway through the meal Andy

Natural yoghurt is your friend (neautralises/dumbs down the spices and coats the pallet) just put it in a dish and eat eat the yoghurt with the meal

Problem for us is we have a nice Ruby and it makes us hanker so bad for a stinkie it's unreal Last time though we said, half pissed, sod it ten Mayfair; and mate they tasted like sucking on a burnt out oil can, absolutely vile! Mind you we've made the same mistake with a pack of Marlboro lights, hmmmmmm.nom nom. Thing is at 7.30 the next morning we've not felt at all like smoking anything and it hasn't even occurred to us again, Vaped again for weeks and weeks

Curries, chillies etc I've been ok with, yes they've seemed a little spicier but nothing that I haven't been able to eat.
The one thing I cannot eat since giving up smoking is Tuna - I simply cannot stand the smell or taste anymore and believe me this has been really hard as I loved tuna (sandwiches, salads, pasta etc). Strange eh?

Ah nothing has tempted me back to the stinkies yet, not even once (i did stuggle slightly with my juice, until i got my RY4 tho, but never relented) which is amazing for me because how much i smoked before and how badly i depended on it at times, but yeah i can't handle the spice anymore and i am gutted, absolutely gutted! i don't know if it has something to do with being a bit dehydrated at the moment because i am struggling to keep my fluids up in this weather

I've also noticed this... I can no longer eat chillies raw... I used to have a jalapeño bush growning in my kitchen window and I used to love breaking one off for a munch, now I find the jar ones too bloody hot!

Over the past few months I have been complaining to my other half that she keeps putting too much chilli in the food when she cooks - all is becoming clear!
Years of building up my tolerance undermined!
