HI I am a new member, I have been thinking of trying vaping as I currently smoke roll ups, I have quit smoking before and when I did I have had the usual crap that has come off my chest, will this happen if I start to exclusively take up vaping? Plus I work with a few people that vape and they suggest going with the ego t, would anyone recommend that as a good starting place. Many thanks in advance scooby

Nice to meet you scooby74 an ego kit is a good starting point. If you want one to try cheaply have a look here paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/egoce5-blister-pack-p-536.htmlto use a kit as a complete alternative to smoking you will need at least 2 batteries, but that wee kit will give you an idea if vaping is for you. Don't forget to order some e-juice as well

Hi Scooby welcome to the forum The gunk factor probably depends on how your chest is to begin with mate, personally I smoked for nigh on 30 years till recently but I didn't have that sort of reaction, but in the past having gone on nico patches or gum I did have a flemmy cough after a short time. I used ego-t tanks for a few weeks when I started, they're ok I suppose but I found they leaked and needed constant attention to keep them working acceptably, next I used a ce5 clearomiser, much better flavour and less faff, Evod clearomisers are better again IMO and then there are a myriad of other possibilities are out there each with different pros and cons. Read the board ask questions and give it a go buddy, most on here never looked back! Good luck

Hello & welcome Scooby As poochops says, "The gunk factor probably depends on how your chest is to begin with" And as for going for the ego-T, I'd say no. The ego or the similar Riva battery is more than fine, but not the T type atomisers/tanks. they are known to leak & have bad wicking problems.

Hi Scooby & welcome to the forum & the wonderful world of vaping! The same as Poochops, I started with the Ego T & it was great, until I looked around, saw & tried clearomisers. Much better & easier to use. So Ego/Riva batteries with a clearo of some kind on top & you'll not look back. Romelee has already linked to great gear to get you started & Karma too! As for the chest gunk & wheezes, with vaping, I've had no problems, no gunk & I don't use my asthma inhaler now either & I certainly don't wheeze! Last time I attempted to give up, was a totally different story. Don't forget though, we're all different & react differently. Good luck!
