Hi Nick I ve had a play around with your software and its very straight forward and does what it says on the tin (I like it ) Just a possible suggestion on your table , Is it possible to do a table that replicates the Romelee table that Chykensa has put in place? I think you will get a bigger take up of forum users as i would be very reluctant to add to the format Chykensa has put together but tied with your software i think the ease of uploading to the recipe section here whilst keeping the format already in place would be a big plus. Nice work so far Ps probably alot of work but what about a link option to ingredients that people could put in place(eg coffee caramel ,flavour arts as a live link) That's an interesting point ... Collaboration ... Hmmm I can see the advantages. However I would not want to suggest that the program is lacking in any way ... I am quite happy with it as it stands ... Hi Im not suggesting for a second it is lacking and i appreciate the work Nick has already put in to produce a very workable calculator with a very user friendly feel about it. My intention was to throw some ideas into the pot for Nick to consider, but even as is; hes produced something which works very well and i am sure plenty people will adopt it

rich64 Interoperability amongst recipe formats is going to be a tricky one for a while I reckon. Not sure if I've been looking at the right ones but it looks like the images that chykensa has been generating (apologies if it is somebody else!) don't have the same information that dot1ml needs to create a recipe. At a glance though, the file format that EJMU uses is very non-cryptic and I reckon I could probably add in a feature to download the recipe as an EJMU file. If dot1ml starts getting a sizable user-base then importing/exporting in other formats will take a higher priority on my to do list - I'm sure there are some interesting things we could explore. Not sure exactly what you meant re "link option to ingredients" but I have a few things in mind regarding the input of ingredient names - more will be revealed when I have time to work on the implementation.

I've been having a play with the mechanics for the autocomplete feature over the past week and all seems sound. So, today I've spent a couple of hours going through the CCW, TPA, Capella and Flavour Art websites harvesting flavours. These are online now and the autocomplete appears to be working rather well! Check it out: dot1ml.com/mixer(just start typing in the ingredient name field) Edit - Inawera & Lorann flavourings now added too.

I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick. I really like this, it seems easy to use and more importantly it works on the ipad which is great. Trouble I'm having is making it come out the same as EJMU, so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong For nic base in pg at 54mg, 50/50 mix, end result 12 mg nic, with 15% menthol and 3% lemon on EJMU I get 6.67 nic 2.93 pg 15.00 vg 4.5 menthol 0.9 lemon On this one I get 6.60 nic. ( ok near enough ) 6.30 pg. ( big difference ) 11.70 vg. ( big difference ) 4.5 menthol (same ) 0.9 lemon ( same) I'm not sure now which is the right one. Would welcome any input.

padiho I've just tried tapping in your figures in dot1ml and I get: 6.60 nic 3.00ml PG 15.00ml VG 4.50ml menthol 0.9ml lemon What you have done is set your nic base at 50/50 rather than 100PG

The very top line is the target liquid. You've set that at 50/50 OK.
To set the nic base PG/VG ratio, click the cog icon to the left of nicotine base and you'll see where you can change the nic base percentages.

Glad you got it working padiho. I'm not sure where the 0.07ml variances of nic and pg come from. My calculations match the EJMU figures. I'm sure Nick will come along and explain

Oops, my bad - the formula is using the rounded percentages intended for display rather than the accurate values. Should be a simple enough fix but my other half has just made a batch of chocolate custard to round off the weekend so it'll have to wait! Thanks for pointing out the problem padiho.

Some of the flavouring manufacturers are making it far too easy to harvest their complete list of concentrates - Flavor West and Mom & Pop flavourings now added. padiho, just for fun I copied your recipe to try and match the flavourings ( dot1ml.com/mixer/cvl06r) but couldn't find a Flavor West lemon concentrate. I couldn't find it on the FW site either - am I missing something?

The only other ones I have bought are from Mt Baker and a couple from Alba. Perhaps they no longer do it. Sorry Nick if I've got it wrong

Sorry Nick if I've got it wrong There's really no need to apologise - it's really not that important and I'm very grateful to have you guys prodding around and giving me feedback!
