Menthol crystals

can anyone tell me if these menthol crystals are ok for making some menthol juice thanks

They are exactly the ones i have and been using them for couple of months now (I saw them recommended somewhere)

Thats good then rich64 my sister asked me on Saturday to do her some menthol as i make all juices for my daughter & S.I.L. sister & myself, none of us is too bothered about anything complicated we are ok with just straight mixes.
I have read up on how to make menthol but wasn't sure which menthol crystals to use so i just did an online search for Lloyds chemist & that pic came up.

I picked up the same shaped container from Superdrug on Thursday, probably the same contents with a different label, and put about 4 crystals in a 10ml bottle of PG and then dunked them in some warm water for 30mins - worked a treat!
I've used some in one of my mixes and it certainly is potent!

Thanks Perps i had seen a couple by googling it but that one is so easy, i have done a screenshot of it on my ipad so i won't lose that like i do the bookmarks

If you are using the half bottle method it really helps to grind the crystals first. I use my mortar and pestle.

A small kitchen funnel also comes in very handy or roll a piece of paper into a cone, tape the free edge and snip off the corner.

You will only need about 4 drops of this mix to turn 10ml of any juice into a menthol meltdown

I use those menthol crystals, very good idea to crush them before putting them in pg, so much easier than trying to put them in one by one.

Edit to say:- wear gloves or your fingers will feel funny for a while after guess who didn't

and if you don't wear gloves (never even crossed my mind, after all it's only menthol  ) don't be tempted to rub your eyes afterwards . . . not as bad as chillie, but not far off literally

Or use a measuring cup . . . that's what I do with Menthol and Vanillin Crystals, sprinkle some into the cup add PG and you're done without having to handle anything.

Easy enough then to draw up into a syringe and bottle.
