Hi all, ok, so I am a big fan of pyrex tanks. I'm also enjoying having an ego or two about the place and the smaller size of the Kanger Protank mini would fit nicely, but then so would the Anyvape Davide Mini. I know the draw is pretty loose on a full size protank, and would guess that they are probably keeping with that style for their newer mini and mark 2 models too. Does anyone here happen have experience of both of these minis? And which of the two seemed to offer the tighter draw? With full size you can of course use a draw restriction device of some kind, but probably not on an ego based one sadly, hence wanting to bypass using one for this escapade! I feel blocking holes is a bit of a faff, and really would prefer not to have to go there. If only manufacturers would make something "built in" to adjust the draw then they could so easily broaden the appeal of their products to the widest possible audience. I do hope someone here has already tried both, and could shed some light on this one?

Don't know about the minis but the draw on the full size Davide is definitely a bit tighter than on my new protank. Draw on a mini protank is tighter than a full size one too but not a huge amount in it and as I don't mind the slightly airier draw anyway it hasn't bothered me much.
The minis are great little tanks though and having been impressed by the big Davide I'll be trying a mini at some point I think.

Try making a small "washer" out of felt.It works a treat on VN's but should work on others as well.

They came out and got popular before I got started and never truly grabbed me due to being polycarb tanks! More embarrassing still, I bought the new Smok version in pyrex last week! LOL Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestions, but I really like my new Smok one now, it's got a metal jacket outside, two window slots and the inner is pyrex - use any juice you like with no worries at all! Does not cost much, and has a spring loaded bottom post, making it the first ever budget pyrex tank I've seen that is able to screw down flush! Also the top and bottom unscrew, so it can be easily taken apart for fitting a new atty or given a proper cleaning unlike anything else I've tried. Holds about 3ml or so too, I seem to recall. Uses Higher and lower resistance rebuildable atty heads. For about a tenner (+/- £1-£2, depending on where you find them) it's got to be a bit of a steal I suspect! Really liking it so far! p.s allows you to choose whatever drip tip you prefer too! (unlike far too many tanks)

If it's not broken, no point in fixing it then AH . . . delighted to hear you've found something that really works well for you.

Yes, the Vamo and the Silp (sic) are both nicely catered for by those, which is why I'm now looking to find something as good, that is well suited to the Ego style batteries I have too. I like them when it needs to be "out and about" and perhaps a little more discreet, so I want to get them up to speed as well. Shame the evods gurgle like they do, could have been a real contender if not for that.

Mine don't gurgle either perpetua - in fact neither do the mini or my new big protank.
Luck of the draw or user error lol?

I'm no expert at all, and so would not know about why it happens, but Kanger stuff I have here is prone to gurgles and with other brands it's much less so and mostly not at all.

I've used the Protank, mini Protank & Evod and haven't had any gurgling problems. I suspect some people may be removing the top wick when they don't actually need to, causing the atty to flood.

I've never installed a coil or wick I have made so far. I've not touched anything I have bought, it's all exactly as it was delivered and is held up as being 100% genuine Kanger brand kit as and where I did enquire about that. It's got to be part of the design somehow I can only suppose. I mean, what else can it be? OK, it's possible it's user error, but if the way I vape is not to Kanger's plan then a warning on the pack might have been helpful! (joke!) LOL
