Nicotine base

I have only tried Nicvapes Base so far .....75mg PG

I find it has a slight peppery taste to it...... does everyone find this too?

Do all bases have the same taste, or there variations?

Has anyone got a favorite base from a supplier or manufacturer, that has a more neutral taste?

I use Liquid Crystal 54mg from Postmodern and it has no discernible taste when mixed with 50/50, although my VG has a very slight sweetness to it.

I mainly use Nicvapes Base Prom . . . love it infact, but in VG.

It can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer I guess. Whilst you've been away Callum at Healthy E Vape has started stocking 72mg PG if you wanted to try that instead:

I use the 75mg PG base from nicvapes. Although the nic base has a chemical odour and is a light golden colour, I don't think I taste anything peppery in it.

Another vote for nicvapes vg nic base, lucky as I still haver a litre of it to mix.

Interesting... Missus detects the peppery taste as well, but of course I do mix it down, so it may come from the other PG/VG that I use, may have to investigate that.

Has anyone received any base from Nicvape since the Royal Mail restrictions were imposed?

I've received some from Frogster - 100ml of 72mg base, so I know at least he's not having any problems with posting out!

Nicotine itself has a peppery taste.

All the gum, lozenges and sprays I have ever tried all had a peppery taste to them, but just be me of course.

Had 1L delivered last month from Nicvape, it's in the freezer & if i stick to my date labels i won't know what it tastes like till 2020, heaven only knows what it will taste like by then!!!

Up to know i haven't noticed any discernable difference in taste between Nicvape, Cig-eliquid & E-cigwizard, the only three places i've bought nic base from.

I don't do subtle flavours & i tend to mix flavours on the strong side so any background taste that may well be there prolly wouldn't make it to my taste buds.

Could you not try increasing % flavour in your mixes? Perhaps not the answer you're looking for but maybe worth a go.
