This was really good service. They arrived a couple of days ago and the batteries and charger arrived from DX yesterday. However...(lol) I think I am physically unsuited to it. I know this sounds completely ridiculous but I have small hands and very small pinkies. The switch is quite stiff and my pinkies ache!! i'm also not getting the best vape in the world from it. I'm using a 901 attie, a new one and the batteries are fully charged. I'm guessing there is some technique that I haven't yet mastered!! So far it's all seeming like quite hard work. Any advice and does anyone want to buy the gold one??? Lynda

Lynda, I'm going to leave it to someone else to help you with the issue of the switch being stiff. My SD is one of the first made so has a very different switch.
Couple of thoughts on technique. Firstly as it's a new attie, it may need breaking in. Secondly, it helps to heat the attie up if you hold down the button for a couple of seconds before taking your first draw.
Re the Gold one (got to admit I don't like the gold colour) - IF no one else wants it, then I'll buy it off you as i would be interested to see how it compares with my old SD with the wobbly button that causes it to misfire.

Chrissie, If you don't mind having the "used twice" silver one then you can have that one.., that's if you don't really want the gold one, which is more of a brassy copper to be honest.
I tried an old and tested attie first and it still wasn't great.. My best vape is always from my pass-throughs and I can't seem to replicate that with anything else.. I'm wondering if I should save my pennies and buy a GG thing... Lynda

Lynda, honestly I'm more than happy to buy either the gold or silver one. But I would only be buying it just to see if it works better than my old SD So if anyone else really, really wants it.... Are your passthrough direct or battery ones? If they are direct & you have them plugged into a 5v 2amp (or above) hub) then you will be getting a true 5v vape from them. Got to admit that I love my GG

Aahh well Raggie, It's now nearly an hour since I last posted and I think I have it cracked..I think maybe the switch just needed "breaking in". It's now as soft as a pigeons chest and the vape is excellent and it doesn't cause pain in my pinkie! Chrissie, the gold one is still up for grabs if you want it. You can have the silver but it has now been in use for over an hour.. Lynda

Raggie, You should see the muscles on my right pinkie after just an hour or two.... I have to say, now I have this thing cracked, that the only other thing I could wish for is an automatic juice feed P.V. Now I don't have tp press on the switch so hard the screwdriver works like a dream.. Lynda.

I'm using mine, having finally got my batteries by gum, the button is sensitive...i was just holding it lightly, the button resting on my pinkie with just the weight of the SD on it, no pressure from me, and i wondered wot the noise was, it was the atty fizzing...have to be careful
