Your posts inspired me to collect my SDs, which had been languishing at the PO sorting office for a week.
Finally found a lead to fit the double charger I ordered from DX and I am most impressed. Masses of vapour and a really good throat hit. I find the position of the button really awkward, but I'm sure I'll get used to it with time. At last I won't be taking my passthrough in the car with me every day.
Shame about the gold colour, but hey, free is free!
One happy vaper

Hope Trog puts the markll on a bogof next, cos i can see how the button cover would make the SD much more user friendly

It will be brilliant that you can also demonstrate the SD to the radio presenter

Lynda, thank you so much. The SD you sent me arrived today It really is a huge improvement on the SD I bought in December 08. Although I have to admit the end button placement still isn't my fave place for a button. However, unlike my old SD, the new larger button mechanism doesn't wobble all over the place when you press it causing misfires. So I am well pleased with it

Yeah, must admit that's the 1 thing i'm not keen on with the SD's, the button placement. They're great for in the house, but not mad on using it in public. Took it out last week, me mates were calling me Bin Laden haha. I've just got a Tornado today, works great, very stylish and easy to use. So now I have a full set of excellent working battery devices, some great cart filler (that blue pre-cut stuff from strictly e juice USA is quality), decent juice is plentiful, now all I need to do is suss out the last thing I'm having trouble with...the dreaded atomisers. I've chucked 6 away since i started 9 weeks ago...the ones from Trog are working great, but i want a method of cleaning that actually works... On the TW packaging of the tornado, it says use canned air to clean them up...anyone know where to buy this from, as i've not a bloody clue, but i'd like to try it on these trog's atomisers when they do drop off...cos i know they will lo0l.

Bucko, that is a lot of atomisers you have got through Are you keeping the carts nice & moist? You can buy the canned air from Asda, office/computer supply places or online from eBay for instance. You do need to make sure the one you buy doesn't have bitterant, Got to admit though that these days I don't bother using anything to clean my atties, just occasionally burn off any built up crud on them by pressing the manual button (on whatever mod I'm using) for a few seconds without the mouth piece on.

thanks for that Chrissie, i'll pick some up in town later on.
Well yeah, it is a fair number of atomisers I've been through, i'm going to put it down to experience. - and bad luck!
in the early days, I guess i probably wasn't using enough juice to keep them wet, though i'm definitely on the right lines now I know what I'm doing. Having a decent battery E-cig helps massively. Not lost any atomisers for a fortnight - gerrin lo0ol

Just to let you know Bucko, the canned air isn't cheap - it's about £5.00 a can from Asda. Well it seems expensive to me anyway cos I'm originally from Yorkshire & don't like being over cahrged for thin air Yep, it sounds like you are now on the right lines .

DONT use canned air unless you have to - if you are using it it must be the pure type used for electrics & computers etc. Infact DONT clean them unless you have to . All you do blowing them out is waste liquid. Just make sure you keep them moist/ not flooded and they should perform fine for 2-3 weeks then the performance will start to drop off . Only cleaning needed is the bottom that screws in to the battery and battery head - give it a wipe every now and again to get rid of any build up of liquid. You are NOT going to get the Gunk that builds up on the coil and the wick off I dont care what anyone says. www.cavecom.com/pics/atom-2.jpg
