A couple of questions, what a surprise!
One for Bucko....was wondering what the juice you bought from the US site was like. I should probably have asked you before I ordered some but I'm addicted to steep learning curves. (I also ordered one of the key-ring juice bottle thingies.. so cute!)
Second question is how am I managing to get juice into my battery compartment???
I'm guessing that isn't a good thing to be doing.....

Lynda, the juice that that Bucko bought from the USA site is Dekang juice - the same sold by 90% of other sellers (including Cloud9 misteliquid to name just a couple). However, there are some mixed reviews on ECF concerning Strictly e-juice. Just one of several threads about them :

Re getting juice into your Screwdriver battery compartment. Unfortunately, unlike some other mods, the SD battery compartment isn't sealed so juice can get into it.

Hi Lyn,

The juice i got was from strictly was double mint, and its excellent. I only used that site to get the pre-cut blue cart filling, but needed to get the order up to 10$ to get free delivery, so the juice was a bonus anyway.

On a downer now mind, my black SD has stopped working...again

i had to send it back last week, recieved it fixed 3 days ago, and its gone again. no power at all, swapped out the batteries and atties with me working Gold SD, and still nothing. I'm starting to think it could be a faulty set of batteries causing a shortage. one of the 4 batts i recieved in the starter pack was DOA, not sure if that has any relevance.
Emailed the caveman, awaiting reply.

Wow, poor (((Bucko))) - I've never heard of a duff SD, I rather think it must be the batteries or atties.

Lyn - I quite often get juice in my battery compartment, I just blot it out with bog roll No lasting damage has ever been done. It's because I drip direct into atty - and if the atty actually didn't need more juice, but it was the battery that was low, then I flood. That's the trouble with "components", you never quite know which one needs attention

I would bet on one of the atomisers being the problem are they all brand new ?.

How does the spring in the head look, is it springy to touch or compressed and flat looking ?.

I must stop thinking that everything I touch, e-cig wise at least, is going to die on me..
But I still have a charger to send back to LF and the GD box mod to return...
I have to say that I'm not convinced that my SD batteries from DX are holding their charge very well.
I also never expected to be communicating in "capital letter" abbreviations quite so much!

Yeah, the atomisers came with the SD's, all brand new. They are ok in my working SD, and in the Tornado, so definitely not atty related.
Trog's been great about it, detailed replies, he's putting it down to my bad luck, out of 300 SD's sold in the last month, mine's the only return lol.
I compared springs with the working SD, and couldn't see any difference
anyway, its been sent back for repair, would love to know the cause of it though.
Those tornado's are tidy mind, really enjoying them, I'll definitely be stocking up with a few spares of those before the ban hits.

I went upstairs when i got home from work last night, i almost immediately saw the bag on top of my chest of drawers, under the mirror....strange...im sure it wasn't there before

got my new ones from TW too, so all's good...hehe

DOA and/or dying e-cigs are my speciality, Lynda don't you dare steal my thunder

And as for the DX Spiderfires - I am finding my last delivery disappointing too ??? Fortunately I've got 8 of them and 4 chargers so I can swop frequently, but they do seem weak
