Hi, Been thinking of buying an e-cigerette for a while now after trying a friends and stumbled across this forum in the search for a perfect starter kit.. So far, there are two that have got my attention to start with.. 1. SkyCig Deal - www.skycig.co.uk/deal (£20)2x SKYCIG Starter packs (usually £20 each) 2x Rechargable Battery (1 Per Pack) 2x USB+Mains Charger (1 Per Pack) 6x Assorted Cartridge Refills (3 Per Pack) + SKYCIG Cartridge Refills (normally £10.95 a pack) 2.a The One Kit (NEW 2013) (£20)Features Powerful 650 mAh battery – all day vaping! 5 click on / off feature – keep the battery safe in your pocket/bag. Long Wick Clearomizer - more vapour and flavour and a huge 1.6ml capacity. Fast Charge USB – charge your battery in half the time with our latest USB charger. Easy Fill bottles – our new range of bottles feature easy fill tips, making them ideal for getting eliquid in the correct place! Content · 1x UKECS Battery – Black Rubberised or Stainless Steel · 1x UKECS Clearomizer · 1x UKECS ‘Fast charge’ USB charger · 1x 5ml Bottle of Premium eLiquid · 1x Gift Box 2.b The One+One Kit (New 2013) (£30) < better value than 2.a so might as well get this?Features Powerful 650 mAh battery – all day vaping! 5 click on / off feature – keep the battery safe in your pocket/bag. Long Wick Clearomizer - more vapour and flavour and a huge 1.6ml capacity. Fast Charge USB – charge your battery in half the time with our latest USB charger. Content · 2x UKECS Battery – Black Rubberised or Stainless Steel · 2x UKECS Clearomizer · 1x UKECS ‘Fast charge’ USB charger · 1x 5ml Bottle of Premium eLiquid · 1x UKECS Carry Case --- The first option (skycig) seems a great deal, but 2 things put me off here, first the e-cig seems ''fat'' and i am currently used to smoking roleys, so the second option one+one seems to have a thinner end so it may feel better in my mouth? my friend had one similar to the skycig, and i don't like the size of the end if that makes sense? Secondly, the second option seems like it will be cheaper in the long run? Anyway, any thought or opinions on either of those 2 products? Have you tried both and/or know a better option to start out? I don't want to spend too much right away, so the best starter kit under £40 would be what i am looking for.. Thanks

Hey and welcome. myepack.co.uk/kits/e-vod-kit.html is similar to the 2b pack you posted however it has much better clearomizers. You would just need some juice and away you go! Hope you find something that works for you

Where would you recommend to buy juice from? or the best place to buy sample/small size's since i would probably be best trying a few out? I had a quick glance at people making their own? So i would probably go down that route eventually.. for now i just want something to get me by and try out for when i quit the fags

Juice all comes down to personal preference. For the most part I get mine from callum at health e vape. Their pure perfection range is delicious, I highly recommend The Bounty (very nice chocolate caramel blend with a hint of coconut) www.health-e-vape.co.uk/pure-perfection-e-liquid-108-c.asp

I'm assuming from the display picture you are from Yorkshire? Where abouts, I'm in Bradford so probably relatively local =D

Where abouts, I'm in Bradford so probably relatively local =D Thanks, Just had a quick look and there is definitely a lot to choose from...apple pie & custard? lol i'm from Goole, Living in Scunthorpe at the moment for work, but still not too far.. Been Bradford once for the IMAX, wasn't disappointed. Thanks rich64 & chykensa.. i can see this forum being a big part of a new hobby, i did quit smoking for about 2 years but nights out is what got me back into it, i think i could just quit again if i wanted to, decided to turn to e-cigs since i actually enjoy smoking especially socially... just not the nasty side effects

If you don't mind me asking how many a day are you smoking at the moment, gives us a rough idea on what strength liquid to advise

the cigarette lookalike style ecigs are generally very very basic and won't give you a proper experience, they are good enough to check and see if vaping is something for you but if you are sure then go for an ego ecig

i would suggest any ego style kit should be the way to go as the options are plenty when it comes to tanks etc plus consider getting a 'rebuildable atomizer' if you want to save money in the long run, all you need is some silica wick rope and resistance wire that you can buy dirt cheap should last you ages.
