Just saying Hello

Hello everyone x I have been a lurking member for just over a month and gave up stinkies 4 weeks ago today  The info on this board is fantastic and I couldn't of done it without all the help on here..
I was tested yesterday with regards to the stinkies took my poorly doggy to the vets and was told after scans etc. she was really ill and needed an emergency op. was in tears when I left her there, went straight to my sisters house as I felt I needed a 'real' ciggie! After several puffs I looked at her and said, I don't want this I prefer my ecig!
After smoking stinkies for 40 years 30-40 a day I am so proud of myself and I now have nearly £300 towards the vet bill..
Hopefully we can pick her up this morning got to ring after 9.30 so fingers crossed.

I wish you luck for your dog lets hope it all goes well, im also glad you have reached that point were u think what did i actually like about smoking definitely not the taste or smell can only be the habit to rely on to treat yourself mentally with a little perk.
Stay strong i even bet your dog prefers you not smoking i know my cat does not sneeze like he used too when i used to smoke in the same room as him:)

Hi lolly, hope your poor dog is ok. I haven't smoked for nearly eight months and simply can't believe how easy it was after 25 years. The idea of a cigarette over a good ry4 or peppermint now is just ludicrous to me. Love my evic and bod with I vivi nova on top. Everything I need and more.. Goos luck and well done for staying off the cigs!!

Welcome to the site, I've not been here long and while being a little overwhelmed by all the different info available theres always someone willing to try make it idiot proof for people like me. One tip i'll give is no matter how simple you might think the answer may be if you have a question, just ask it they're a really helpful bunch.

I'd trust a vet over a doctor anyday, well at least I would over my doctor. I'm sure your pooch is in good hands and I wish you both all the best

Have you tried anything aniseed flavoured such as T Juice's Affro Dizziac? My pooches love the smell of that one!
