In all honesty, it sounds like the Riva is the better alternative, based on the amount you both smoke. Why not consider a kit between you to start with and give it a try. It seems very complex, but it really isn't, if you just take one step at a time. sounds like good advice to me

It's just that you are so much better at explaining things Chrissie Nicky - It's very hard to explain everything in a forum post, but if you have a look at the links that Chrissie provided it should help.

I am asthmatic & am fine vaping medium to high strength nicotine. My first e-cig was also a Riva 510, I think it's a great piece of kit & always recommend it to new & old Scott (igetch69) has good, understandable tutorials on you tube. He covers all the basics & because it's all visual, it's easy to understand / follow. Good luck on the vaping journey

ok ,thanks to you all, i have checked out a you tube trailer and have decided on the Riva 1100 thanks to Chrissie and Jason, one last question (hopefully), i assume with me smoking a mild cigarette i would the winson low be best for me in the e bottle, and how long does each bottle last (just so i know how many to order.

Hi Nicky, welcome Chrissie and Jason have given you the best option for you both. You are not being a pain hun, we all have to start somewhere and it's a darn sight easier for those of us with a long time vaping under our belts.

I would definitely advise you to go for a low nic eliquid and a high for your hubby. No one can really say how long a bottle will last, it will depend on how much you vape. I tend to get through around 4 - 5 ml a day but I vape like a train You'll also find that your tastes will change once you get into vaping, a lot of us now go for the more fruity flavours, although there are some that still prefer the tobacco tastes.
