By the way, if you think I am always here, it's because Chrissie has me locked in the cellar and only lets me out when there is a question to answer Wot!!! I didn't even realise we had a cellar Off to see if I can find a key to release Jason >>>>> <<<<< hmm maybe not Seriously though, Nicky if the cartomiser you are using got burned, then you are going to get a very harsh vape from it.

Well, i've been vaping for a few days now, going well (i think), yesterday i had 6 cigs and vaped the rest of the time so that's about a third of what i would normally smoke, not sure if that's good or bad really.
How long did it take you experts to completely stop the cigs?

Took me a couple of weeks Nicky . . . but I didn't stress over the ciggies I smoked . . . nor would I do if I had a cig now, 15 odd months on. Tackle it at your pace and what you're comfortable with, you are doing really, really well.

Great to hear from you Nicky and glad to hear that you are doing so well. As the others have said, just take it slowly and the vaping will just naturally take over. No rush at all.

Thanks guys for the encouragement, good of you say i'm doing ok as i really wasn't sure if i should be vaping more than smoking..
jason, thanks loads for the extras, it all tastes so much better especially since i "watered" it down with the glycerine.
Just wish i could stop the fags a bit quicker, but like you all said no point stressing.

You're welcome Nicky. It might be that once you get more used to the taste, you won't need to cut the liquid as much, therefore getting a little more nicotine and therefore making your cig cravings a little less - if you know what I mean

Took me about 2 months before I was able to completely detach myself from the fags,I found that I cut down slowly without even thinking about it until I realised that I had gone a few days without one. so just take it as it comes and let it all happen at it's own pace. Even now once or twice a week I'll have a roll up with a liquorish paper because I like the taste and because I have a few packs of bacci left but I can't any longer be done with tailor made's- cant stand the taste or the smell. When the bacci runs out I can't see myself buying any more but I certainly don't feel guilty when I smoke one cos it's only one or two a week instead of 30 or 40 a day! Also when you've tried a few flavours and a few different strengths you'll suddenly hit on something that will completely satisfy you and you'll become more intent on experimenting to finding your perfect vape than you'll be concerning yourself with the cigs. You're doing fine but there's no bench mark to judge yourself against, It's just whatever works for you.
