I wouldn't kick yourself about having ordered from TW - yes, their mark-up is bigger than one-man Web shops and they tend to rebrand this stuff, but they do some decent advocacy with regards to the TPD and provide reasonable customer service. It's not unlike buying from Apple or more accurately (a reference for the real geeks) buying your Linux from RedHat.

Might explain my general dislike of TW.

As for Linux, I tend to go for minty varieties myself.

Yeah, I like some spin on Ubuntu (mostly headless on VMs, so no Mint-ification)
