Well if you are looking for info from people who have moved to vaping, I can say since quitting smoking 20 months ago I have not felt better in a long time.
Personally I hope the people pushing the votes for legislation come to their senses and see the benefits that this new option has given people, and judging by the number of people I see vaping and the excellent people in this forum the general public have, and allow this option for people wanting to quit the stinkies.

In answer to your question I have found no negative side effects to vaping other than spending too much time reading posts on forums, watching reviews on you tube and then spending too much money on buying the stuff I've read and watched about. Given that I've been told for many years that cigarettes are bad for me and have tried on umpteen occasions to stop with no lasting success and an awful lot of stress then, for me, I can't big up vaping enough. It got me off tobacco, I enjoy it, I feel better (even after only 3 months) I have no cravings for a cigarette, I can taste things I didn't taste before, I can smell things I didn't smell before (that's not always a positive improvement!), I don't cough in the mornings, I don't have to go outside in the rain and be anti-social in a variety of social situations. I don't know about the science of safe or not safe but for me personally, the benefits are immeasurable and I absolutely believe that vaping has to be better than smoking - if it's proved to be 'not safe' then we're into the realms of relative safety, relatively it's got to be safer than smoking. Nothing in life is 100%safe - do the risk assessment and either do it or don't!

The big problem at the moment is that if we say anything positive it can be used against us and if we say anything negative it can be used against us too. ???

One thing is for certain - smoking is far more dangerous!

But as the TPD has made vapers paranoid and seeing enemies everywhere atm, the timing could have been better. Plus 2 different names...

Should we ban people merely because they want to find out our experiences? For whatever reason. I don't really think we have anything to hide and as long as the person isn't a troll, I can't see the harm.
They could get all the info they need from a search, so at the least they are a lazy researcher.
