I know that many, many people have been involved in the fight to get the best possible vote at today's EU parliament. But I'd like to single out kibbster for his relentless pressure on MPs and MEPs, his constant updates and reminders to all of us to apply pressure, and his skill in raising our awareness and activity levels. Well done!!

Ah shucks! Thanks all It wasn't me that did most of the work. Most of the thanks should go to Dave and all at VVTV, Rebecca Taylor, Chris Davies, Martin Callahan and all loads of vapers from UKV on Twitter. Special mention to Gerry Stimson, Clive Bates and Dr Farsalinos - they were all essential and gave us credibility which was desperately needed to fight some of the doctors and professors that are anti-ecigs. I was a tiny cog in a very large well oiled wheel But thanks all the same In fact there are shed loads more that Tweeted and informed us 24 hours a day but I can't remember all their names hehe

I think it was just kibbster 's way of having an excuse to get out of the 'nappy changing'... 'Too busy dear, can you do it!' Seriously mate, many thanks for keeping us informed of developments.

Can't say fairer than that. I was thanking a UKIP MEP today on Twitter because she supported vapers and both her and my local MEPs (who are also UKIP) I don't agree with all their politics though and doubt i'd ever vote for them. This was more important than party politics. That comes at the next general election when I can make sure I punish Labour in my own way.

kibbster I wish to thank you for all your efforts in keeping us updated at all times. You are a credit to this forum and the general vaping community here in the UK. MHRA look out you are next in line, to come under scrutiny of this "medicine" proposed UK regulations. Well done "Kibbster".

MHRA look out you are next in line, to come under scrutiny of this "medicine" proposed UK regulations. Well done "Kibbster". Thanks jeffc I know most campaigners are on UKV and posting on there but this is my home and always will be so I wanted to try and keep people up to date here as much as I could. Was impossible this morning though, Twitter was exploding and the VTTV live stream and chat was so tense I've never been in a chatroom like it, 250 in chat were listening to every word live and commenting. There was a lot of chewed fingernails and nervous bellies in there hehe As for when Dave Dorn lost the connection at times (livestream was up and down like a cheap thai hooker at times.) people nearly cried. At one point minutes from the crucial vote the stream failed and I could almost hear the digital screams, Dave must have been shaking. Most of us had Twitter, the video stream, chat and forums all open at once and it was information overload so sorry if I didn't update as quickly as I should have. Also if you've never seen EU voting live... don't It's amazingly confusing and fast paced - all of us where wtf!? a lot of the time just listening for them to call vote on 71. It was like a game of bingo with The Angel of Death (Mcavan) doing thumbs up/ thumbs down roman style for each vote to steer the MEPs the way she wanted. Surreal morning...
