That's why after a nights well earned rest we start tomorrow on our local MPs. Our MPs are already primed from earlier this year so it's not going to be a surprise and the precedent set by plenary will still be fresh in their minds. TBH that article was so full of holes on E-cigs I'm glad they don't have anything to do with it

Agreed and I'm so glad that "thing" has been put in charge of our entire country's safety... Gulp...

Good post and thanks for the heads up. I was just getting excited that we may have won the argument - should have known better really - but at least it's a good start.

The Soubry affair is an interesting point, she admitted she dint have time To keep on top of all the details and that she didn't even think ecigs We're even part of the TPD. The impression I have Is that the traditional tobacco element is the rolling Tone that they all want to keep rolling on. It's a Shame as if they woke up To the really important public health aspect, but nevertheless it may work in our favour. Providing we continue to be a thorn in the side of moving onwards with plain packaging We stand a chance of being effectively cast adrift from the worst aspects of the legislation. We need to be the biggest pita we can be!

Oh I should have added, the ecig element is under a Labour mep, Meaning it's effectively an opposition part element to the larger piece of Legislation. The Conservative MEPs voted in our favour, we already have Friends in all the right places. We just need to keep yanking their chains To keep them in line a little longer. Also let's not forget, but for the newly arrived coalition government, the MHRA would have steamrollered through with their cunning plan years ago!
