Does anyone have one of these they would like to sell, or know where I can obtain one?

Can't help you with one myself Tim . . . wasn't it something Trog has been saying about producing?
Or is that wishful thinking on my part!

I do seem to recall that there was some made, as I've heard mention of someone having one, I think on UKV, but can I find the thread in question? lol
Might have been Trog... just don't know :-S

I don't think they were ever made. The ones in existence are home made jobs. Find someone with a lathe and knock a few up..I will buy one

Those were for the MK11, you'd need to see an engineer to have one made for the original. There would be quite a Market for them if someone were to produce them but to have them made in the uk, they would be expensive. I made one for my MK11 that took a 14500 or 2 cr2's and a bigger one that took moju's 5v batts but they were made out of alloy and the threads started to wear out. Have to say though, 2 cr2's was absolutely superb in it!

I have several for the mk2 to allow a 18650 battery to fit and they work good. The cost for me to supply the UK would be around a tenner. I posted on in your thread on the other forum with my other mod which doesn't look anything like an omega...!!

I've been looking out for a sleeve for my MkI, keep popping to Trog's forum hoping for news. Did I imagine seeing that the price would be quite high?

Trog wouldnt make them scyl as he heavily disapproves of stacking batteries, I had this conversation with him some time ago and it's one of the reasons I asked Graeme to see if he could get some made.

You are right there - trog disapproves of high voltage and stacked batteries big-time. Its worth remembering that all graphic reports of venting have been with stacked batteries...

I'm not too fussed about stacking batteries in my SD... however, if I can put in there a 2800Mah Senybor 18650, then I'll be more than happy, and it'll surely last me

If you are hoping to use an 18650 remember you will have to "sleeve" a Mk2 SD - the 18350s don't fit a Mk1 which takes 16340s

Thanks for the heads up prof. I've got all those batteries, so one way or another I'm sorted... Cheers!
