I have had the strangest problem over the past few days with my batteries and their connection to the charger. I had problems over the weekend with an ego battery and it not screwing onto my charging unit. It felt like the threading was damaged as it was not locking on at all.last night I had the same problem with my other battery but it works on my spare charger. I left the battery from the weekend at my bf's as I had ordered a new battery from paradise vape,so not sure if that battery will connect to the charger that worked last night.
The new battery arrived today and the battery that was being dodgy will not connect to the new charger. I've cleaned the threading but no luck at all. Finding it strange how it will connect to one charger but not others.
Anyone else had this problem with batteries?
Hoping using the other charger will help improve battery life of my 1100mah as it hasn't been lasting as long as it did a week ago.
This has ended up being an expensive venture when I would only spend £7 a week on baccy !

Hi, bubbleglass,i've had the same problem, could it be that the centre pin on the battery needs pulling up qith tweezers a tiny bit? That's what I did It seems not all 510 ego usb leads fit all 510 batterys which is odd:-/

The centre pin wouldn't cause problems with it attaching to the charger would it?

Just tried raising the pin but no luck sadly. Think I'm lucky that I have a charger that it fits to so not down to 1 battery again

I'm not sure how long you've had your kit for bubbleglass or where it was bought from. May be worth getting in touch with the vendor?

I stupidly bought from eBay so won't be able to sort anything out sadly. Might try and buy the same charger online again (another eBay buy) and see if that one works too. Really learnt the lesson of buying from eBay, thought I was saving money when infact I was getting dodgy kits. Found some great vendors with fantastic prices. You pay for what you get !
The charger that is working for the battery is a long cable and the ones that don't work with it are short cables. The short ones seem to have centre pins at different heights... by a tiny amount, so don't know if that is making a difference .

Thanks for the links, I won't be buying from eBay again for batteries etc. Really frustrating as the battery works perfectly just charges on one charger. The paradisevape link you gave is what arrived in the post today

Sounds like it's just de-threaded. Happened to the first Ego battery I bought on eBay within a couple of weeks. Never again.

bubbleglass, sadly you have found out the hard way..E bay is rife with mickey mouse batts, Its the only place that these traders would dare to unload such trash. As Karma says officially it's against ebay rules , OK you may not get your dosh back, but you can at least stop it happening to anybody else.Just report the trader to Ebay. As a thought, did you use Paypal and was the transaction within 45 days? If so open a ticket with paypal as the goods were faulty.

I just checked my eBay account and the transaction was on the 9th September so within the 45 days if my adding up is correct. I've contacted the seller but I do not expect to get anything positive from that. Just had a look at their eBay feedback and there has been a few negative feedback on the battery I bought.
Thanks for all the advise guys. Once I get paid I might get another battery from paradise vape. Spares on top of spares I'm thinking ! Got the perfect set up now with my evods and mini protank thanks to you guys over the past few months:)

Very sorry to say but you probably won't be able to claim back on paypal. Since paypal are owned by eBay and ecigs are banned on eBay they don't tend to issue refunds on anything e cig related =/
