Went into our local vaping shop today and one of the guys there was holding a pretty substantial looking Vamo, I mean it was huge.. for a split second I thought it looked like a ladies fun toy why I don't know.. anyhow I disabled pervert mode and had a chat. Now, let me clear this with you guys and gals first. To quote the saleman: A Vamo isn't for the faint hearted it's more aimed at the pro vaper? (pass, don't know - couldn't tell ya) In all honesty he did seem pretty genuine and said if I wanted one anyway he could do one for £80 discounted which included batt, charger and 3 juices, the clearomizer would have to be bought separate.. What struck me from the outset was how good a vap it was giving, then there was the 3ml tank and onwards to the battery life and variable watts and volts etc, kinda made my ego rip off look like a toy. What is the general consensus on this cig people. Seems a beast of a thing to me!

My 1st thought is £80 LOL LOL thud. I am sure you can get a heck of a lot cheaper mail order in UK. e.g. myepack.co.uk/vamo-v4-full-kit-black-chrome.htmlI have never understood what a pro vaper is. I have a vamo but no one is paying me to vape it. No one pays me to vape full stop so I am clearly not a pro having vaped for well over a year on mods.

£80 seems a bit hetic, what sort of charger and batteries were included in the deal? It's a brilliant introductory VV/VW mod Dusty.

Blimey now that is a sales man! I have the v1 and I guess the v4 would be a similar size. Awesome piece of kit I use mine every day and it does look well used. I think i paid £60 including 1 x 18650, 2 X 18350 and an xtar 2 battery charger (that was £20 on its own I think) It is quite large but I got mine because I wanted to start making my own coils and it was protected and had an ohm checker.

It is a cracking piece of kit to own, since I have switched over to a mechanical mod I still use mine to check my ohms on my rba's

I love my Vamo (V2 but they are all the same dimensions) - I've accumulated a multitude of toys (electric, mech etc etc) in the four months I've been at this and its by far my favourite.
In 18650 mode yes its a beast - in 18350 its pretty manageable if a tad heavy but it gives great vape.
£80 though lol and no - links above for much cheaper UK vendors or Fasttech for even cheaper but a long wait

There is nothing more evocative of Chinese engineering than a Vamo. Sometimes the finishing can be a little rough and ready, tolerances not being as fine as they could be, but the brute does what it was made for.
Couldn't live without my two buggers.
Jag. (I think I have V5's ........ lol )

I also have a vamo or 3 but NO WAY would I ever pay 80 sheets for one Fasttech if you're willing to wait and save your self more than £45 Or if you're in a hurry get it online from a UK seller. But make sure you get good batteries AW, Efest, Sony or Panasonic to name a few good uns and a reliable charger like Nitecore.

I had a look at the pic Brambles posted. I see the two batteries, the two cartomisers, what the hell is that gigantic thing in the middle?

I wouldnt take that out in public Also get a SS version, as the chrome ones usually lose the coating and it looks like the vamo is peeling its skin. Fasttech is the cheapest place to get one

WOW, thanks for the replies guys and gals!
I'm embarrassed to say I got hook, line and very nearly sinkered by the sales pitch on that Vamo, unlike me not to double check... live and learn!
The Vamo from Fasttech looks really cheap, how are we for import tax from that place and maybe more importantly are they genuine Vamo for there?
Lastly, is it better to get the V3 7-1 SS or the V5 on it's own and source the batts charger and clearomizer separately? I don't know what the difference is between the V3 and the V5?
Thanks again for your help.

They're genuine, I've not heard anyone get caught by Customs, but I'd consider the v2 SS versus the v5. The v3 is an ugly and abandoned experiment.
