Hi, Due to chemo side effects I have ended up back in hospital. Basicaly I felt so sick I couldn't eat or drink anything for 5 or 6 days and nothing in, nothing out. Severe constipation with nothing happening for over a week. I saw an on call doctor at my surgery and the silly cow gave me some antibiotics where what I really needed was a jetwash or a depth charge. I was in so much pain by Wednesday evening that I booked myself into A&E and have been here since. The good news. They have no problems with me vaping either in the trauma unit or on the ward itself. The on call doc asked me if I was still smoking and when I told her that I had been on the ecigs for 15 months she said the next step was giving these the push. I asked her if there was any reason to do so and the only thing she could think of was the expense so I dropped the bombshell that I has saved £2,500 since switching. She then admitted that there was nothing wrong with me vaping for the rest of my life if that's what I wanted. Phil

Fingers crossed you won't be in for too long Phil. Hope you are feeling better soon. I was also allowed to vape in bed when I was an inpatient. Such a godsend not having to fight your way outside the hospital dragging a drip behind you!

I hope your recovery is as swift as can be Phil. Another vote for movicol, I have to use that as I'm permanently on tramadol, codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen for pain and they do not-so-wonderful things to my tummy. So glad you can vape while you're in there!
