I just have NO grasp of techie things - loved the old thermostats where you had to put in little blue & red lego type bits for on & off - now spend an hour in front of digital wonder-boy programmer going goggle eyed AND I like wind up car door windows (hate electronic - they have no precision control ) AND I want to be able to buy microwaves & washing machines WITH KNOBS & NOT touch control AND oh.... the list is endless
- - - & don't get me started on cheque books which I love & no one accepts anymore!!
Off to take deep breaths now

Thanks guys, had a painful night at work, i was drinking as much as i could for hours!!! then had to cut it down as it wasn't making any difference to the razorblade thing, i just had to do it more often

got some antibiotics from the on call dr when i finished my shift this morning tho, so hopefully i'll be able to pee in peace soon....i dipped urine on the ward, the blood indicator was off the scale, no wonder it's so sore....

Lolli, you've just reminded me, i haven't been to the bank with your cheque yet in case you're wondering why it hasn't come off yet...i'll go monday, i promise

Poor Lilac you have my sympathy. Try 'Oasis" (sodium citrate) and drink gallons of cranberry juice.

I've got cranberry capsules Foxy, can't be bothered going out tonight, so i'll try those, thanks....

must be about 25 years or more since i had this, don't think it was as bad then tho, but i do remember my youngest having it when he was young.....it was terrible, he was screaming with pain and wouldn't pee, i tried pouring warm water over his tinkle but ended up putting him in a bath before he'd let it go...

Waffle on, do! I don't want to be the only one - that SD battery post must have lost most people

Talking of tinkles, my father brought back from Germany some lederhosen for my little brother, who proudly went out biking with them on the next day. For days the squeals were pitiful while Mum was putting cream on his bruised, red-raw bollix
