OK, so its been just over 24 hours since my last stinkie even though I had a lot to drink last night, and the Mrs was smoking, and losing the Tyne/wear derby. Getting much better flavour today because of the steep. Placed an order with t-juice for a selection pack of tasters in 8mg nic. I like the idea of 16mg during work and then the lower for evening heavier vaping. Am off to the club to play darts, and for a hair of the dog, but the baccy is staying at home. Even though the club allows vaping, I will still probably go outside, if only to show off my new toy. Might have a shop around whilst out and about tomorrow for some more juice!

Thanks for the very kind support everybody. Did get some strange looks when I skyped my mother last night, and she wanted to know "what the hell I was sucking!" I explained and I think her interest was piqued a little, so may order another for when she comes over, if she doesn't get on with it, it'll be a back up/one for swmbo.

Good job cl0wn - glad to hear it's going well for you. You can have all the pretty gear in the world, but it's the right juice that'll keep you at it. I was lucky and found some juices that I liked from my first order, but I love the variety of having so many to choose from.

I really rate the t-juices that I've tried, so I hope you find some you enjoy.

I'm also going to get my mum a starter kit for Christmas, but I don't know how much she'll use it as I know she'd feel embarrassed whipping it out in front of her friends who all smoke like chimneys. Still, I can try!

Thanks Karma - that's exactly the sort of thing I was thinking of, although I might see if I can find an evod kit in the same sort of price bracket. I also need to resist the urge of giving her all the juices I don't like - I mean to encourage her

Well it went quite well in the club last night, after everyone had a good laugh at the size of the MVP, we then were able to have quite an intelligent discussion about the benefits of vaping. Asked a few of the committee members why we couldn't have "vaping allowed" posters to encourage vapers. Had a few of the smokers ask me to keep them up to date on how I was doing giving up the stinkies, as they might give it a go.

First day back at work vaping, couple of colleagues had another laugh, but when I explained about it, got a bit more support especially from my team member who has survived cancer (1 year clear, never smoked), even if, when I said how I'd only had 1 fag since Friday night, replied "that's one fag too many!" That last fag was Saturday, before I started vaping.

Still no stinkies!

Excellent job cl0wn - keep at it! The MVP is hardly a crowd pleaser for the uninformed masses, but those of us in the know know what a beast it is

I love being able to take it out and have a toke when I'm out and about, plus I can still pop out with the smokers for a 5 minute break and have a nice relaxing vape. Another benefit was I had a dodgy elbow which was affecting my darts, but the ache has improved because I don't have to have the room as ventilated, and my elbow was right in a draught. It does attract some odd looks though, but no more cumbersome than a pack of baccy, packet of rizlas, tips and a lighter, and much more convenient.
