OK, I don't mean to derail but I'm still waiting for a Protank from FocalECig, but the clone I've tried so far has been massively disappointing - the centre pin doesn't make connection with every mod and there's a definite nasty taste (as well as the lack of heat, which is expected).
I'm just surprised to learn this is normal, even with the genuine article, and wondering why some people are so devoted to BCCs.

I use BCC's a lot Barry, love them and don't get a burnt taste with any of them, unless I get an air bubble when filling . . . that applies to the genuine article and their clones.
However, I do give the heads an overnight soak in bicarb before I use them as I think some Chinese wick can leave a little to be desired. The heads that have been kindly recoiled for me, then I don't as the wick used is of a better quality.
