I have bought mostly "Market Stall" juice and am not sure what % pg/vg these have been. Anyone point me to advice or threads discussing the relative pros/cons and %s to look for? I DONT like a "Sweet" aftertaste though, I do like decent amount of vapour, I'm using an iClear 30 at the moment, which has a Top fill Top Double coil, but am about to try a Bottom Fill single Bottom coil device. I use an MVP variable v/w, which I increase in power over the day.

Top coil tends to be a warmer vape, which usually improves the taste some. But to get a better vape than bottom coil I'd say you need to go for dual coil (iclear or nova + x-heater) which drinks juice.
Bottom coil is, I think, a more consistent vape. I mostly use evods for out-and about - they seem more rugged - and X-heaters & RBAs at home.

I am far from "normal" (no comments please ) But I find I get more flavour from VG, and I also get a lot less flavour from BCCs (which is not the standard wisdom) iClear16s which use a very similar head to the iClear30s cope exceedingly well with vg in my experience. My mini davides can struggle with it slightly (Bottom coil) VG is most definitely thicker and sweeter, but it isn't THAT sweet, just ever so slightly. If you are buying premixed juice then the VG is normally thinned with water or occasionally alcohol.

keepitgoin, it all depends on what your after, standard Top coil is a warmer vape, but can lead to dry hits if your wicks dryout. BCC doesn't have that problem and gives a cooler vape But just to confuse the issue, the trend now is towards Dual coils in both. Classical I16's are top dual coil and renowned for flavour and vape, however all dual coils will soak up your juice like sponge. It really is a question of choice between economy or quality ... BTW all single coils can save money if you choose to rewick/recoil.

I agree the dual coils are close to impossible to recoil, but if you learn to look after them, cleaning and dry burning, they go on for months and are therefore extremely economical. (I am talking about the I16s, the new BDCs do not appear to be so easily maintained, but I haven't got one so I have no direct experience)

I'm Vaping an iclear 30 so a Top Double Coil, I do like the "warmth" and compared to how much Tobbacco I used to smoke, my 7 or 8 mls a day is a lot less, BUT I am now thinking, OOOH Ginger and Lemon, that'd be nice! I THINK I'm happy with my Batteries, one an OK Spinner, the other an MVP, I'm now looking for another Tank. Must hold 5ml juice at least, and be pyrex AND, now I'm thinking, be a Top Double Coil?? Any other suggestions, there are so many products out there my head is spinning

personally I'm not as yet fond of bottom coils (evod on twist) and throat hit certainly suffers with them (lot less with same juice). If the Protank I'm just cleaning out is the same, it'll be back to iClears, Bauways and DCTs for me
