Aargh, Chinese Gov bans nicotine sales advertising

This sounds like it could be a big problem to suppliers and us customers. I hope it doesn't affect us too badly, there is already too much uncertainty about the future of vaping. I predict some panic buying and a lot of stocking up. Please keep us updated if anyone hears anything.

as far as the suppliers i deal with they report no such issues

Tobacco advertising has been restricted for a while in China

Branding nicotine containing products as harmless was banned in 2007 in China

I receive 30 to 40 emails a day for harmless smoking cessation devices and healthy nicotine, so I can't see any ban on nicotine advertising having any immediate detrimental effect.

I wouldn't panic buy just yet (and yes I did just say that River & Blakey )

I wouldn't panic too much at the moment Kev . . . presumably this is more for the irresponsible Suppliers that sell Nicotine at poison/illegal strengths.

I expect the Chinese wholesalers will find a way around it.

I certainly hope so anyway
