Well if anyone looks into the stats what I am about to say may be blown completely apart, I don't know because I haven't checked, but it always seems to be that when Wigan play a big team they win, as I say stats may prove it wrong but it just always seems that way, probably because you expect them to get slaughtered by the likes of man u , man city, Liverpool etc yet they draw or win.

Ronaldo as in the footballer has a hamstring, ( well we all do but his is torn ) , will it be mended by the next match??
I had a grade 2 tear and it took 6 weeks to be able to walk properly and that was wearing the neoprene shorts, running no chance for months.

That's standard, but somehow these footballers get healed quicker.
I still get problems with mine, cant stretch my leg out totally and I wore then god damn tighter than tight shorts for 4 months.
I don't have top paid physios though.

Rooney has a chipped toe, he couldn't play for man u in the league, but he was ok to play against Bm, but now suddenly his toe is too poorly to play, well excuse me at £300k per week, unless he has had his toe chopped off he should play.

Messi, wouldn't get away with it, at Barca they have to play hard and train hard, plus do lots of other stuff.

I'm with you there, he is f*****g useless compared to other strikers in the world, and he does as little as possible on the pitch, maybe somewhere under that fat blob of an exterior there is a good forward, but he gets away with doing as little as possible and goes sick for the slightest thing.
They should not get paid if they dont play simple as.

Of all the things you could level at Rooney, lazy is pretty unfair.  I don't know many strikers that cover as much distance in most games and he does more than his bit defensively.

As for being overpaid, almost all footballers are.  But you can't really blame them for that, would any of us turn that sort of money down were we offered it?

I do think he is lazy, compared to what Messi has to do his life is a doddle.
Regardless of the distance he covers he doesn't do anything, if it is handed to him on a plate he may fire it in.
Would I turn the money down, well no if that was not hurting anyone, but I would give 200k of it away each week, probably more.

Jay Rodriguez - has covered a lot more distance by the way
